The biggest cause is people growing up without father's or father figures in the home. It leads to this kind of dengerate behaviour. Look at prison inmates for example... Almost all of them grew up without a father or father figure.

Not having a father greatly and negatively affects both males and females. You can clearly and quickly see the absence of a father in someone's childhood just based on behaviour or the way they talk. They tend to have very bad habits/traits and the effects are felt by those around them.

I'm disappointed by the minister's statement that she awaits the statistics while the historical data is and even our international ratings clearly speaks volumes on this subject area.Tota GBV has escalated over the years and let's not address it as if it's new. Nnyaa, le ko school curriculum has been for many years now. This issue requires a totally new strategy and practical actions that involves all ministries becos it is a sociatal problem.

gender violence has been included in the school curriculum from the beginning of time. What does it mean go rutiwe bana ko dikolong? Children learn from home eseng ko skolong. Theres justice systems in the place? Maam, these have clearly failed which has led us to where we are today. As a ministry you need to take action urgently! Ntshang molao!!!!! Its that simple. This talk is very mormalizing of the very same thing the country is trying to end. GBV.
