Still think this is an ungodly good performance - 97 concert is one of my favs - every time I come back to it the energy shocks me - they often feel so slow in choreography terms now (I know they're older - but it would be nice to see some energetic kick-arse dancing for just a few tracks and see them actually work up a sweat again....especially in Metalizm in my view :P). Everything seems in great balance here - with all getting their chance to shine in this concert, something I kinda miss with the newer stuff (although totally in love with Monochrome, Mirror Mirror Divine Attack etc). I have watched this at least 150+ times and not got bored with it.......really 😳😂 Great reaction to one of the worlds best live bands :D
It has been a while since I last made this comment, but whenever someone goes on and on about the look in Su-Metal's eyes I cannot help myself. That is the burning gaze of Alexander the Great, which seems to peer into your very soul. Queen Su has some other things in common with the mighty Macedonian conqueror.
This show was pikachu approved, did you notice him in the crowd? Legend 1997, the day after Su's 16th birthday. Not bad for a 16 year old and two 14 year olds 😂

I've seen a lot of bands over the decades and I can honestly say that it's all led up to the absolute best, Babymetal ❤ Yes you're right, the audience are effectively Su's subjects and she holds dominion over them. Just finished writing at your "Pa pa ya" reaction that this one, Headbanger" is my absolute favorite of Babymetal, and one of my alltime favorites, and here i found your reaction to it. Although they cannot pronounce "Headbanger" right, because the sing "Hedabang" it is not diminishing the greatness of this song at all...i love that song and Babymetal!

Secondly I've said this a couple of times now to commentators that make a remark as to Su's fierce stare, but you gotta feel a bit of sympathy for Su's future husband when he gets in trouble and she just gives him THAT look. He'll come home from work or whatever and she's just by the door staring at him with that look hahaha. Can only feel pity for the poor guy hahaaha
You said you saw them live and still you haven't heard any of these songs? This one and the previous one you reacted to, Road of Resistance, are songs they play on every show. So, either you lied about seeing them live, or you're lying about this being the first time you've heard these songs.
