- These cookies are made with 100% natural and plant-based ingredients. They do not contain refined sugar or flour. They are very easy to make and very nutritious and healthy. They are ready in 10 minutes. They are made with hazelnut paste, but you can use peanut butter or any other nut butter or paste. If you have roasted hazelnuts, it is very easy to make hazelnut paste. You can make them with carob powder or cocoa powder. With both options you will have healthy, delicious and nutritious cookies.
Since they do not contain flour, they are suitable for keto diets and also for celiac people, because they do not contain gluten.
If you want to reduce the glycemic index, you can substitute the agave syrup for another sweetener of your choice.
INGREDIENTS for 8 small cookies
100 grams (5 tablespoons of 15 ml) of hazelnut cream
1 tablespoon of 15 ml (20 grams) of agave syrup
2 tablespoons of 15 ml (20 grams) of carob powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all the ingredients until they form a paste that you can work with your hands without sticking.
If it's too sticky, add more carob powder.
If it's too thick, add more hazelnut paste or agave syrup.
Shape cookies and put them on a baking tray covered with baking paper or a silicone sheet.
Bake in the oven at 180 ºC / 360 ºF for 5 minutes.
Let cool on the tray so they don't break.
Once cool, you can leave them on a wire rack to finish drying (optional).
They will be delicious soaked in your favorite non-dairy milk.
