I feel so sorry for Rollins. He lost last night at main event then tonight his world championship but still showed up at the end of the show to help and keep his promise that he made for Cody even if he is physically incapable and exhausted. He is the most underappreciated wrestler in pro-wrestling. That man can do whatever anyone asks him to do. He is such a great talent. Without him this story would never see an end. He literally was the shield for Cody as he promised to be. I think he should take some time off and pay attention to his health. This man had been the world champion for 316 and defended the championship 56 times in his reign which made him the true workhorse of the company. I am so happy for Cody. And Rollins continued to prove that he is a great character worker whether he is a heel or a face.

I've been watching wrestling over forty years, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone put a table BACK UNDER the ring!?! Congratulations to Roman Reigns for breaking new ground!
Words are not enough to express this WrestleMania, I'm overwhelmed with emotions. What a time to be wrestling fan. I love Seth but today my respect for that man grew even more. Fuck it Cody and Seth made me tear up three times tonight. And credits to all the superstars this was indeed the biggest WrestleMania of all time. Goodbye Roman, enjoyed the ride but it's time for Cody. What a beautiful and wholesome ending. When one story finishes another begins.
As much as we all wanted Stone Cold. Undertaker actually made the most sense, he lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. And this wasn’t about The Rock. It was about Roman’s past coming to haunt him. Cena, Seth as the Shield & Undertaker, it was executed perfectly. Austin had no business being there. Glad he wasn’t.
Actually, not really, otherwise, he would have striked Roman, I believe someone had said that in their last match together, Rock beat Taker, so Taker got his revenge
Seriously, a character can have multiple reasons for doing something, it’s called nuance and multi-layered characters, The Undertaker has issues with Roman From 23-2, he has issues with Paul Heyman From him being the manager of both Brock and Roman, the two guys to beat Taker at WM, he has history with The Rock and Taker needs to take back his title as The Final Boss Of Wrestlemania.
@@kharanraj6546 the only reason for taker to appear in that match was he is literally final boss of mania which makes sense from the point of view of mania not any other ppv
The most important thing that i want to notice is there is not this new era without Roman Reigns. At the exact moment where Roman Reigns aligned himself with Paul Heyman the whole industry changed we were followed by the most iconic title run in modern wrestling involving the greatest storyline, WM main events, great matches, thousands of memorable moments, and of course involving the Greatest of this generation, maybe the Greatest of all time. At this point Roman Reigns belongs into the mount rushmore. People will just now what they had with Roman reigns when they feel that he is missing. I acknowledge you my tribal Chief☝🏽
Strange time to become a fan...missed the best era of wwf/e and tna from 05-09 owned them in talent and match calibre. Sounds like a great one though, looking forwards to catching it. I know Bully Ray's jealous of Drew for that genius tweet idea 😂
Bringing out the shield Seth with a chair was a psychological strategy from Seth's end...The betrayal 10 years ago is what created the monster namely the Tribal chief...it is evindent from the way Roman literally went mad and got DQd at Royal Rumble in their one on one match...There was nothing that could end the Tribal chief unless it was the source that created him..the image of Seth in a Shield outfit with a chair in hand...When Seth and Cody lay there helpless Roman could've chosen Cody for the chair shot but instead he decided on finishing his story..hitting Seth with the "Plan B" attack..the chairshot. The psychological warfare costed the Tribal chief and Seth became the one to sacrifice it all to kill the monster he had created 10 years ago. If this isn't cinema I don't know what is.
It was the theme of night. Seth took his eye off the ball and lost his championship, Drew did the same, as well as Roman. Cody didn't and won. The theme being to stay focused on your goal and not let personal grudges get in the way of the goal. Honestly, it really was cinema.
I was a big WWE fan back during 2014 when the shield betrayal happened. I'm not so much of a fan nowadays, but seeing what's basically the end of the decade long storyline involving the shield feud with Roman and Seth is honestly super special.
The whole match depicts the end of an era. The greats from the Vince era coming out and Roman getting his closure from the shield betrayal and an aew wrestler getting a big moment like this which Vince probably would’ve never given. And then Triple H coming out at the end was the cherry on top. I love professional wrestling. Excited for this new era.
I think The Undertaker's involvement wasn't just about his WrestleMania match with Roman but also when it comes to WrestleMania The Undertaker (not The Rock) is the final boss.
Roman will forever haunt hitting rollins with the chair that cost him the match.Although he might be the tribal chief he made a rookie mistake he will forever regret. This mans historic title reign came to an end because of Seth Rollins and i dont think he's ever letting that go THAT FUED BOUTTA FEED FAMILIES🔥
For me - 1) Drew vs seth including cm punk and Damian - 9.5/10 2) Pride vs final testimon - 7/10 3) La knight vs Aj - 9/10 4) Randy vsLogan vs Kevin including speed - 9.6/10 5) Bayley vs Iyo - 10 / 10 6) Roman vs Cody - 11/10
I'm really happy for Bayley! She's been one of the most consistently entertaining people on the roster for years. SO glad to see her get her WrestleMania moment!
Nah the character work Drew is showing is immaculate even when he's not on the screen or in ring, Like he Quote tweeted about his in between match tweet and said "FUCK". Even If he lost the championship he still took a massive W. Can't Wait for Punk vs Drew(or a triple threat adding SETH ROLLINS into the feud)
Drew McIntyre is buried, now he is going to job out to Punk and then get lost in the shuffle once again.... That's the respect which Drew deserves for carrying WWE during the pandemic era? Why does HHH hates him? Wtf has Drew to do for getting a proper world title run in front of fans?
@@gregzilla3139 it's not going to happen, HHH will book Punk to screw Drew again and then Drew will job out to Punk and then Drew will be seen only in catering... I just got back into wrestling and this is my first wrestlemania since 2007 and my god when I say it was the best main event I’ve ever seen I truly mean it! This was top tier!!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you Santi for this entire year as a content creator you got me back into wrestling. I stopped watching wrestling as a casual fan when I was a kid in high school. Last year I stumbled onto your TikTok account seeing you react to WM39. I started to watch RAW and Smackdown through your TikTok page and did that for several weeks before starting to watch the TV shows myself. Eventually I subscribed to WWE network and my very first PLE was summer slam 2023. This was my VERY FIRST Wrestlemania I ever watched and it was amazing. And the next day as soon as I could I watched your reviews. I followed your TH-cam channel as soon as you started it and watching your daily video has become a ritual for me. You do an amazing job and I think I’m not the only one who has you to thank for getting people to be interested in WWE and professional wrestling again!
I think this mania had the best aura, stories leading in, matches & the pay off at the end than any other mania ever, felt like I just sat through somthing really special, truly a great time to be a wrestling fan
It's not a complaint but I had really wished it was Stone Cold who came out instead of Taker, It just would've made more sense as The Rock's rival. That being said, the main event was an overbooked cinema masterpiece and had pretty much everything I had hoped for. It's gonna feel weird to see Roman without a title now :(
Santi I legit cried when he won I had this feeling in my heart that I never had watching me and my friends watch this and I gotta say HOW DO THEY TOP THIS NEXT YEAR
21 years ive been watching wrestling. In all of those 21 years, i have never been as locked in as i was last night. I used to only be locked in like that for undertaker matches so for him to pop up legit outta nowhere, was so poetic for me personally. Overall my favourite Wrestlemania EVER.
The final moments are even better if you consider that Reigns has the choice between picking the chair to hit Rollins and having his revenge OR taking the Rock's belt and striking Cody Rhodes with it to win just like him and The Rock did to win night 1. Him picking the chair in the first place told you everything you needed to know. Masterpiece.
as someone who grew up with attitude era, I just wanna say this is easily the best WrestleMania i ever watch in my life.. Thank you WWE, Papa H, my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, Final Boss The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and the rest of the gang.. Simply, CINEMA..
Thank you santi for helping me get back into WWE. Seeing you on tiktok reacting to matches had me interested and then i would watch your vids here and get up to date with everything and going back to watching weekly and every ppv

I cant praise roman enough. And every person involved in thsi wrestlemania. Even the crowd. Genuinely, this is the greatest time in modern wrestling. End of sn era, start of a new. And cheers for that 🍻
I want everyone to thank the rock for getting involved, Cody cry babies for forcing Cody back in the main event, the rock again for giving us the final boss caracther that would bring back a dead man for him to be taken out, John cena , Seth rollings for shielding Cody , triple h for setting everything in motion for one of the biggest nights ever, basically what I’m trying to say is thank you Vince McMahon for leaving the company.
I’ve always been a big critic but Now that it’s settled and the Roman reigns saga is over I gotta say my respect for Roman is at an all time high. We don’t have this incredible moment without him. Time will be very kind to his Reign as champion
Another thing, in the end what Cody did to counter Roman's spear, is exactly what Randy Orton does to counter the spear, a kick just when roman is about to launch. It was Cody was taking notes from Randy's experience who was his mentor at a point.
Wow what a WrestleMania, it's the best WrestleMania for me ever ,I started from WrestleMania 31 and that was my favourite till this one , congrats Cody u deserved it, Roman what a reign huge respect 🩷
I aint gona lie, I sobbed at the end of this match, I am stoked that Cody won but my heart is heavy for Roman, he gave us an amazing 3.5 year run that should never ever be forgotten, he more than deserves his flowers, he brought me back to watching wrestling at a time when I so so so angry at WWE for the shit they gave us from 2014 - 2018, so thank you Roman is well deserved
It was damn near perfect, have been watching for 24 years, one of my favorite WrestleManias of all time. It felt like a series final, looking forward to what Papa H has next!
Drew vs Seth finisher fest worked solely because of the work they put on. Drew really is so intense and true to whatever he does, he better get to finish his story as well. And Punk in the commentary was just an added bonus

Seth was absolutely legendary, MVP of this storyline by far, he promised Cody to be his shield, sacrificed his title for Cody, and still showed up to the final match AS THE SHIELD to show him that “I’ll be your shield” wasn’t a lie, then he still showed up to the final match cause he knew Roman would throw away his whole reign for revenge, poetry in motion, cinema and greatness
Thank you Rock for elevating this wrestlemania
And Hats Off to Roman Reigns this man smiled when he was getting pinned, he was truly happy for cody's story
You saw that too right! I was like Reigns does it again. Puts someone over. No wonder his documentary came out.

He deserves it more than Roman

As much as we all wanted Stone Cold. Undertaker actually made the most sense, he lost to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. And this wasn’t about The Rock. It was about Roman’s past coming to haunt him. Cena, Seth as the Shield & Undertaker, it was executed perfectly. Austin had no business being there. Glad he wasn’t.
Actually, not really, otherwise, he would have striked Roman, I believe someone had said that in their last match together, Rock beat Taker, so Taker got his revenge
No becoz taker is the ultimate wrestlemania final boss
@@321Cameranah that because Undertaker is the final boss of WrestleMania
Roman deserved standing ovation❤
I was surprised he dyed his hair for it too!
The only thing I dislike about the Shield story is they completely ignore the fact that they reunited. Roman been got over Seth breaking them up
I was a big WWE fan back during 2014 when the shield betrayal happened. I'm not so much of a fan nowadays, but seeing what's basically the end of the decade long storyline involving the shield feud with Roman and Seth is honestly super special.
The chair shot to Seth Rollins when Cody was right there is the most cinematic/poetic thing i have ever seen, which indeed cost the title.
Bayley vs Iyo really was a close to five star classic. And the crowd involvement made it even better
Really? The match was kinda boring.
i skipped 60% of it.

I just got back into wrestling and this is my first wrestlemania since 2007 and my god when I say it was the best main event I’ve ever seen I truly mean it! This was top tier!!!!!
I cant wait for the video package, Seth saying ill be your shield to actually being his shield. Great review brother. So many beautiful crafted Easter eggs, that goes back 10 years, now that's writing
me and my girlfriend watched it together. one of the best shows we’ve ever watched. one of the best nights ever. congrats to the american nightmare.

It's gonna feel weird to see Roman without a title now :(
Taker is the final boss of wrestlemania but yeah Stone cold would have made sense
This is why I love pro wrestling. The characters, the stories, the surprises

I aint a Cody Fan But Cody Holding that Title and His Celebration Had me in tears
When the shield music hit some stupid part of me thought maybe just maybe moxley would come out of the crowd
I’ve always been a big critic but Now that it’s settled and the Roman reigns saga is over I gotta say my respect for Roman is at an all time high. We don’t have this incredible moment without him. Time will be very kind to his Reign as champion
I called a cash in would happen from day one. But I would never EVER predict John Cena, Undertaker the Usos, Solo Sikoa and the Rock in one match.
From the most hated hero to the most beloved villian. ☝🏿
Another thing, in the end what Cody did to counter Roman's spear, is exactly what Randy Orton does to counter the spear, a kick just when roman is about to launch. It was Cody was taking notes from Randy's experience who was his mentor at a point.
I legit thought Cody was gonna do an RKO at one point when he started punching the ground.
