Skateboarding took such a drastic turn in the years following, not that I'm not happy for the progression, but it was so amazing to see tricks that were never done, and not done by many other skaters, the feeling was nostalgic, it's kind of the norm today to see skaters just doing outrageous tricks, but in the early 2000s and even mid 360 hardflips wasn't even trick I ever thought of somebody doing
Good times, being a teen looking up to Malto, Lizard King, and Carlin and many more getting hyped to go skate after school with some friends. I remember how we all though the 360 hard flip was never going to be topped. Crazy how good people are now. I will always love this video, for the memories it brings back.

Ive been listening to Flock of Seagulls a lot lately and I knew this song was in an awesome skate part but I couldn't figure out who. THANKS recommended videos!!
I always thought it was ironic that Jimmy Carlin was on Mystery because he himself was such an eccentric rider and person that he was anything BUT black and white lol
I liked it, there was some extra sweet editing, good balance of focusing on Jimmy and his board, and what he does with it. I had to watch a lot of it a few times before I even realized what was going down, some really unique skating happening. I am really getting into these color theory vids, its that art and creative approach that really has me hooked. I can't wait to see more. More Jimmy, more ct. lol
@Two01BMX well its not like it starts out with no color and they add it. they color correct it so its less saturated meaning it'll have less color but not black and white
even though jimmy carlin doesnt have crazy kickflips for some reason his are some of my favorite ones... like when i think of amazing kickflips the first thing i think of is jimmy carlins

the worst part about being a pro would be traveling all over the world and finding the sickest spots and wishing you could skate them everyday with the painful thought of knowing that its not gonna happen :l
