Those wheels look like the 1983 too so if I remember correctly they were called "G". I remember that also Tom Cruise sold his 1986 Porsche 911 Targa that looked like that one you have on this video.
The name of the wheel is Fuchsfelge (Fuchs = Name of the manufacturer and Felge = wheel). Fuchsfelge is a brand of the German company Otto Fuchs KG, which produces forged aluminum alloy wheels for Porsche (and many other car manufacturers). Great video. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Frankfurt/Germany.
as a porsche enthusiast, i would say that you guys are legends for giving what this 930 911 targa deserves, the wheels on this 911 are called fuchs wheels, they are one of the most iconic wheels on a 911 ever made.
@Turbo 500 - I totally agree regarding those awesome wheels. I remember my dad having all these old used car magazines back in the 90s and those were the wheel style I remember
As a Porsche owner, I approve this video! You guys did an awesome job! The wheels on this car are Fuchs wheels. As for dream cars, I'd say I currently own mine. A 2011 911 Turbo S. Cream White in color, cocoa leather interior with Makassar wood trim throughout.
Absolutely great video guys! I don't detail cars, and I don't know much about them. I just watch detailing videos for fun and relaxation. I don't normally care much about the polishing part because it just isn't that interesting, but you guys made it look really cool and the shots were just fantastic. Been watching you guys since the beginning and I can really see the improvements. You're really coming into your own and I'm proud of you. Keep up the great videos. 💗🌟😘
First car that came to my mind was the Lamborghini Aventador SVj, 765LT is there too, but nothing beats the V12, and those headache inducing shifts from the single clutch transmission. Such a raw car.
I’ve owned and still own several 911s and my current fav 2017 Cayenne Turbo. Porsche’s are absolutely awesome. The one you’re cleaning is very sought after and is worth close to six figures when when the rebuild is done... Very wise to use the tape. When I do a full detail on any of mine I always use tape to protect the the rubber areas and seals from staining.
I would want my old pickle back! I am 60 and from very rural Nova Scotia Canada. Had a 72 Pontiac LeMans V8 2 door. It was called the pickle because my older sister did the body work and spray painted it with the brightest green she could find using a Filter Queen Vacuum cleaner. The floor consisted mainly of mud and duct tape. When it was raining hard I had to tell the passenger to lift their feet or the spray through the floor would soak them. I lost brakes, a wheel, often doors didn't open and it had two pieces of 2 by 8 bolted on the back for a bumper. Of course spray painted silver! My sister sucked at body work and painting but she knew engines and that bab6 could go, mind you, you watched the gas gage drop too. The best part was at stop lights. I needed two pillows to see above the steering wheel, and young guys in their fancy hot rods, would pull up to the light and laugh...well they weren't laughing as I tooted and stepped on the gas and left them in my dust! She wasn't pretty, but man, could that car go.
Porsche's sexiest part is always in the rear. Those combos of rear wings, rear fenders and rear lamps are the most beautiful part in all Porsche's but not in Caymans's 😁
Something to be careful with is pulling the parking brake on cars that have been sitting a long time or are just old. Its not uncommon for them to stick. Love your videos!
actually it is only worth of doing for TH-cam. The car itself needs to be taken apart and restored and rebuilt, with hundreds of new parts, plus new interior (cause mold will come back a month later, as soon as the car stays in garage and humidity rises).
@@btaxel and you must be one of those woke and dreamy delitants. If this car should be driven daily and safely and fast it needs a lot of investment: all plastic or rubber pipes need to be replaced, all gaskets, new seats, and door panels, anti-corrosion of the whole car needs to be redone, the engine taken apart, cleaned and reassembled, all hubs cleaned and filled with new lube, new roof, new steering wheel, new battery, new tires and the list is going on.
@@stevenroberts1334 hahahhaha... check the channel of the guy who is restoring it! It is exactly what I said! They strip it to the core and rebuild - the only way you can make it safe and fun daily driver again.
Despite the dust on the outside and the mold etc inside, the car seems to be in an excellent condition, no rust and the paint looks good even before the polishing. Who knew old Porsches could withstand the passing of time so well. Also, if money was no object, an older Porsche 911 (especially 930 Turbo) would show up on my yard in no time!

If money & availability weren't factors, what car would you go out and buy right now?!

Die schönste Felge am Porsche (besonders an den luftgekühlten Boxern) meiner Meinung nach.
Für die neueren Modelle sind die leider etwas zu klein ...
