Green light in Hitachi Air Conditioning System refers to "timer light".
If we press timer button by mistake then green light will start appearing on the front panel.
In this video I will tell you how to use timer function in Hitachi Air Conditioning System and if green light is turned on then how to turn off green light or timer light.

You are misleading. To turn off the ac you need to use timer off button and not timer on. After watching your video I thought my remote has some problems but now I understood.
