Mix is a god... or goddess. Does anyone know what type of controller do they play with? I use a keyboard and want to move away from it eventually. I've never owned a joystick or a dpad or anything of the like for fgs
No controller makes you better in the game than other, it's all about your personal preference and what makes you feel more comfortable. That being said, most pros use stick controllers, but because most of them growed up in the arcades era and got used to it. If you are a begginer, I recommend using a PS4/5 or a Xbox controller, I'm sure that you alredy got used to them if you have played any kind of videogame before, also because the L and R triggers can function as shortcuts to mechanics that need at least two buttons to activate, like Roman Cancel or Faultless Defense. Also, yeah, using keyboard is a pain in the behind, you do good in moving away from it lol. But then again, this is just the recomendattion of a nobody, try every controller you can and choose what you think that adapts to you the best.
Leverless is by far the best peripheral. It's like playing on keyboard, but way more ergonomic. You can succeed on any controller, but you should probably just go with something that already comes naturally to you. There are advantages to each, but leverless definitely has the most pros. Check out the Haute42 controllers. They are relatively inexpensive and very customizable.
Slayer has got to be the most boring character to watch. Same combo every time, but even more than that it's literally the same move every time too. Lame
