I dont think this would pass code. The GRK specs on those screws show that you have to use a joist hanger with them on joists. Why you ask? Because the screw is so big that the joist can split prematurely and drop down causing an injury at a later date. Another thing is the mounting system for the posts, you have to prove to the inspector that your patio stones or cement slab is thick enough to be structurally sound. Where I come from, that is 4 feet below ground. You will say that the deck is floating on the ground. In my area, a deck used as a main entrance to the main floor of the house, has to be attached to the house via the rim joist, and in that case, sauna tubes or bigfoots must be used in conjunction. Other than that, its pretty cute.
Exactly what I was thinking. Also, that railing could just snap right in the middle bc there’s no support in the longest part of it 😂😂😂😂
This is great. Thank you so much! You are an inspiration for me.
Thank you again.
Love from India 🇮🇳♥️
Great work!
The deck is beautiful. What was your purpose for making the video? I was hoping to see more of an instructional video. I want to build my own deck.
Very nice! I’m looking for something similar for my front porch step.
How did you figure out railing angles for steps and keep space
Great job
Very crafty dude.
Wow, I wish you lived near me, I’d hire you for sure. I need that exact same setup! How much does a project like that cost?
I think all the materials were around $500
Great build man!
Is there any way I could watch the entire video at regular speed?
