Your videos are so informative! I am looking at Florida for the first time next Easter. My boys would be 9 and 11. I feel like they will love islands of adventure, volcano bay and universal studies. I think we would go for 11 nights. Would we massively miss out if we didn’t do Disney as well?
For me, Orlando is a far from where I live, so if I travel there, I will usually do Universal and Disney. 11 days is quite a lot for the Universal Resort. Have considered doing a split stay? Like 6 days at Disney and 5 days at Universal?
Sounds like a perfect trip. You won’t miss too much. Islands for the adventure And volcano bay for a pool day nothing too special in Disney world except the castle. And Star Wars which has long lines always but worth it lol
As an Orlando native who does all the parks. You really don't need 11 nights at these 3 parks. Only 12-15 rides at each park, really. I wouldn't say you're missing out by not going by Disney. Universal is a vacation in itself. But Disney does have more to do as a vacation.

We're not big on rollercoasters, I sometimes get sick, I can do rides like buzzlight year, are there any rides to stay away from ? will there be enough rides for us to do?
Obviously Hulk and Velocicoaster are the big coasters, but everything else should be ok. The Harry Potter ride can give some people motion sickness, but I felt fine after riding it. You'll have plenty of rides and other things to do in the park! 😁

We are thinking of staying at both disney and universal in orlando. Do you think its better to do universal first or disney? Well spend more days at disney(as its bigger) and we have kids between 9yr to 16yrs.
We are going to Orlando next week Tuesday til Friday . Debating between Universal or Islands of adventure . Have a 6 and 8 year old . Leaning towards islands of adventure. Any advice ? Or better days to go ?
If your up for it, you could do both the parks in one day? But with a 6 and 8 year old, that might be tough. I think Islands would be best right now, and as long as you are going mid-week, you should be golden.
Taking my kids ages 13-22 the day I wanted to go universal studios they close early at 6pm 😢 I could go to island of adventure they are open till 9pm or should we wait till a Saturday when universal studios open till 10p they are not all into the hard-core roller coasters and studio seem to have more simulator rides. What's your thoughts studios or island
That's a tough choice. I would say Islands has more attractions overall, but like you said, Studios has more dark rides, so it's totally up to you! Either way, you'll have a great day! 😀

Oh, I know it is its own island officially and on the maps. I just think they're out of their minds plopping one ride down and calling it a land. I'd consider it to be part of Jurassic Park if anything. But it's kind of it's own weird thing. @@themepark101

I think it's kind of gross that people can pay money to make someone's day bad... when someone purposely soaked me after I was able to avoid the water.. they actually ruined my day and my hair. I have issues I won't bother going into but I wear my hair down for that. It's just gross that people want to hurt others. For what? They laughed about it. I hope karma hit them 10x what they did to me. I was a child.

Def head to Velocicoaster or Hagrids for your first ride. That will save on some wait times.

I would say 2-3 days is best, maybe more if you want to try Volcano Bay. 😀

That is a tough question. I would probably stay in Universal first and then do the longer Disney section at the end.
