    *Unpredictability is what keeps me immersed 👍 the player should always encounter something that they didn't expect, rather they're 5 hours in or 500 hours in 🕵 when I can load up a game and predict whats going to happen, that's the beginning of the end* 💀

    Good analysis, though I think you are reading too much into Uncharted 2. Not sure I really understand the torn between two worlds thing and how it relates to that section. Not every game has deep symbolic meanings like Dark Souls and Shadow of the Colossus. Uncharted 2 is a fun schlocky adventurer game for the most part, and I'm pretty sure that section is just so you care about that character when he dies so you hate the villain more.
