Hey Edwin, thanks so much for this great song, directly startet to learn and love it. As thank you I want to recommend you a song. The Cornerhouse, obviously you know it. Find a great version from Grace Dowling from Tumbleweed in youtube...
Thanks Edvin. I have been struggling with Princess Royal. I have had a hard time finding a used DG box stateside. I do have a GC Corso and hope to make some progress on these barn dance tunes. Please keep posting maestro! Grateful.
Thank you, friend 🙏🏻 Remember that you can slow down the video further in the settings if you need. I usually end up playing faster in my videos than I intend to 😅 And by the way, if you have problems finding a D/G box, you could actually buy separate reed blocks in D/G and just install them in one of the boxes you already own. I’ve done that a few times. Do you own any other models than that Corso? Peace 🙏🏻
@@Edvinaronson pardon me for delayed response. I’m just learning this TH-cam communication tech. I have a pre-poker work CF in Gray perloid, as I believe you do as well. I have a black Erica GC. I have an AD Poker work, which was my original box that I purchased 10 years ago on eBay. I have numerous other boxes in various degrees of playability. Unfortunately, I’ve only managed to learn approximately 10 tunes over the past 10 years. I also have an HA 114 in C. Your videos have inspired me to invest in my efforts. Thanks again, my friend.
Skulle gärna lyssna på dig live när du spelar durspel. Finns det någon möjlighet för det framöver? Tala bara om tid och plats så tar jag bilen och kör ned från Göteborg till Malmö! 😊
Erica in G? Great sounds and with your trademark lilt. So so good and thanks. I have dry tuned my Corona so it sounds similar. Bit heavier with the extra reeds but I sit to play like you. I think if you have a larger bellows area then they are easier to play and you don't run out of gas so quick. Is that correct thinking?. Always love your playing. Pete
Hello Peter! This is a Hohner Corso in G/C :) Originally these tunes are played in G, but I play them in C major in this video. I also struggle to keep the air in the bellows, but an advice is to press the bass and chord buttons quickly. It’s often the bass side that makes you run out of air, in my experience. To press the bass buttons quickly can also give a nice rythm to the tune. Keep struggling 😁
I was halfway through the video before I realized I didn’t hit the like button yet.
Super comme d'habitude !...
Thank you 🙏🏻 ⭐️
