Charles Villiers Stanford arr. Armstrong: Intermezzo Founded Upon an Irish Air, for string orchestra

Very different to but, in my opinion, just as beautiful as Sir Malcolm Sargent's more famous version, this is Sir Charles Villiers Stanford's elaboration on than most famous of Irish melodies, The Londonderry Air (better known as Oh Danny Boy). This is the fourth of his 1923 Four Intermezzi Op.189 for organ, in my transcription for string orchestra.
