Thanks Maya for continuing to do Show and Tell even though you’re burned out. It’s so great to be able to see tidbits of what others in the community do outside of chat and TH-cam comments. Personally it has also helped motivate me to get out of the house and be a little less depressy.

YO OREGON ZOO SPOTTED!!! Funfact, we are one of I believe only 2 zoos in the US to maintain AZA accreditation for 50+ years. AND we should be getting a new funding grant to initiate phase 2 of massive renovations and updates to the zoo (phase one of which went from like 2008 to a year or two ago). There's an Oregon Zoo youtube page too! Ahhh I just get so excited about my zoo
30:30 is my post! Leopard slugs have a really beautiful pattern, but like Maya mentioned they are crazy invasive, and this year there are tons more than there has been the last few years. Usually I only see brown and black slugs and on occasion leopard slugs, but this year I've seen more leopard slugs than black slugs

For next time 😂 The Doggy Bar was at an restaurant in Stockholm. People here really like to put out water for all animals when it's warm so alot of people have water on their lawns for birds, deers and bugs😊
Aw what was your post about? The only reason I’d imagine they’d not approve a post is if it showed something that doesn’t align with their education. Like a roadside zoo with cub petting or something. If you signed in with twitch on their website you might be able to see your posts & if it was rejected or just pending approval?
@@Kiki-reads it was about this pet shop in texas, i guess maybe they thought it wasnt align like you said because they do have non traditional pets like chinchillas and African greys. Maybe im answering my own question over here lol! I do agree with maya on how you shouldnt have non traditional pets so i guess the question is why does this pet shop sell them? Idk i do like going though because you see so many animals.
@@SillyCurgi Yeah that’s likely the reason. Most pet shops have questionable ethics like where they source their animals from (e.g. puppy mills) amongst other things. Shelters, rescues and AZA-credited zoos are better for Show and Tell
