This was the first AEW ppv that I’ve ever attended in person and I don’t think that it will ever get topped and I don’t care because seeing Sting’s last match live in person was absolutely amazing.
By giving him a boring winning streak, teaming him up with a guy that's gonna be paralyzed before he's 35, and having his last match be against the young cucks? Yeah, I wouldn't consider that "doing Sting right." 😂
All the guy does is do right by the wrestlers he employs and people just hate the guy because; 1. They're disturbingly loyal to the WWE brand almost to cult like proportions. 2. Jim Cornette tells them they should and they hang on his every word to disturbingly cult like proportions. 3. They're jealous. Definitely agree. Sting deserved to go undefeated in AEW. Every time he wrestled, it was an event n had a special feel to it. If he was to have lost, I wanted Darby betraying Sting to cause it.
I didn't wanna watch it bc I kept thinking they're going to make him drop that title at the next ppv IF it's his REAL Farewell match. So I would rather my last memory be seeing him hold that Tag Team Title.
It's a tradition to put over a young guy on your way out, which usually is the opponent. In this sting's case that young guy was Darby who teamed with him instead and Sting put him over by winning the match.
@@MrChildYeeter Yeah. The Bucks being 20+ years deep into their careers with the level of success they've had, don't need putting over - it had to be about putting Darby over.
