I wasnt sold on the cotton candy colored wood but you may have changed my mind with the dark oak combo. Nicely done
I personally like the color of the wood and the bark; it's just the contrast of the lines in-between the planks that makes me feel weird about them. I feel like the lines just stand out a bit too much for my taste (it works for the Bamboo planks because they're bamboo, so of course they should look more segmented), and could do with either being a small amount lighter, or they should lean just the TINIEST bit more towards a more purple-ish color (similar to the bark, but not as dark).

I'm actually mad at how good this house looks. The colors! The contrast! It was meant to be. Best combination of blocks in the world
The thumbnail intrigued me so I jumped ahead to the build at the end, and man that cherry wood really looked great in that roof. Cherry + dark oak + the calcite/diorite really worked great as a palette, I'm looking forward to doing this in my own world now.

I LOVE the starter house!! My only note is I think it would look so good with pink glass for the windows, since the bottom floor is very white. Also using a mix of while flowers and cherry tree saplings in the flower pots would be adorable. Great start to 1.20 Jevon, I’m excited to see the interior next time

Although the ground cover flowers that fell from the cherry tree can't go into a pot, saplings can. The cherry saplings look awesome in pots - like a bonsai.

making farms but only making them in their respective locations & they have to have a build or builds is a guideline i find super useful to prevent farms from automating away all the exploring fun

I see you got the netherite upgrade template. Keep at least one extra because you can duplicate them via one template, 7 diamonds, and one netherack in the crafting table.

For when you were talking about the hardcore series have you tried restarting minecraft it's self?
uploading long ""boring"" sections like grinding for materials & long caving trips on your second channel is a REALLY good idea - i always love watching those things, but i know a lot of viewers don't want to see it/would skip through, and this is a really good balance
