    Just got this razor and it's excellent. Real close shave and you don't have to grind it into your face.

    I’m a double-edge razor guy at heart-nothing beats that baby-smooth finish. But when I need to shave 7 days a week without looking like I’ve fought a lawnmower, I grab my Philips Norelco (as seen in this video). It’s fast, convenient, and with a wet shave, my skin feels great-no irritation, no regrets. Sure, it’s not quite the same as my trusty razor, but it’s close enough that I’m not complaining. Let’s just say it’s the MVP of ‘I don’t have time for this today’ shaves!

      I think this statement is pretty accurate. I see it the same way for many of the electrical shavers.

      You are absolutely right, my friend! I totally agree with you. Life is too short to spend it for annoying shaving - brushes, razors, soaps and all this funny antique crap 😊
      The fastest wet shave with 2 passes took me from 10 to 15 minutes every day, excluding Saturday.
      So, I spent at least 42 hours a year for this annoying procedure!
      Since I bought Philips Norelco 7000 Series, I spent about 3 minutes on shave daily, no matter wet or dry.
      And it means only about 12 hours in a year! So, I've got a day bonus of my life-time! And I don't need to spend my time and money buying razors, creams, brushes... Does it worth it?😊

    After a couple of flirtations with foil razors, I've been a beard and blade person for my shaving life. After reading online reviews, I bought one of these last week and am really impressed with the shave. It's a little awkward in some of the spaces between mo and sideburns, but it leaves a nice smooth face. I just uncovered the cleaning fluid for the cleaning gadget and am a little disappointed that the gadget itself doesn't have some sort of lid, meaning it needs to be stored on its base and can't travel. I'll probably use it from time to time but leave it in the bathroom cabinet.. To reiterate, a good shave with a little care.

      Never thought about it like that. Yeah, your right of course. Thats not that optimal. But to be fair though, the cleaning fluid isn´t really a MUST for this appliance. Thanks for your comment!

    My clipper held for over 10 years on my old Philips shaver. The clipper still works, but the battery died today.

    It looked like you needed to shave the same area about 7000 times in order to get a clean shave. Is that why it’s called the Philips 7000?

    • @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195
      @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      😅Yeah, you generally dont get everything with one stroke. Braun Series 7 or 9 pro or even a simple OneBlade perform better in that regard.

    I wonder how it is working between the upper lip and nose part. Seems that it is quite difficult with this 7000 system as i think it is hard to reach against the nose. Plus i have a heavy growth, is it better to go for a Braun one?
    I literally just broke my braun and had also some difficulties with the upper lip part, even when shaving daily. Wet is no option due to my 50 years old sensitive skin that gives rash after a wet shave

    • @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195
      @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I´d say that a Foilshaver would be better for that area. Like the s7 or s9. Or even an OneBlade. Pretty close to a wet shave but more comfortable.

      @@wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195 You're reply came as an angel falling from the sky haha. I am literally holding the S7 now and had doubts. But I'm taking the S7 as the Philips has difficulties with the upper lip part, said the salesman. Thank you so much

    Nice review 👏 I compared philips s9000 vs Braun S9 and would say philips is much more better at the end!

      Thanks! :)
      I think it depends a bit. In regards to the core function only, I think that foilshavers get a bit smoother results, while rotary shavers are better for people with sensitive skin. At least thats the impression we got testing a couple of those razors.

    شنو الفرق بين الفيليبس ٧٠٠٠ و الفيليبس ٩٠٠٠.

    • @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195
      @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are quite a few differences. To name a few: The 9000 takes longer to charge than the 7000. The 9000 has a improved coating of the blades as well as a higher quality scope of delivery(better Travel bag, the charging pad etc. The series 9000 is a bit lighter and makes less noice than the 7000. The overall shaving experience is just slightly better with the 9000. Those are some of the major differences. More or less at least.

    Bought mine about 3 weeks ago. Really disappointed with it. Doesn't shave close, and the plates holding the blades are too large - meaning that I can't get to all the hairs directly beneath my nose.

    • @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195
      @wunschgetreu-reviewsmadein195  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Foil shavers do shave a bit closer, while rotary shavers are a bit more comfortable on the skin. Maybe you can return it and try a braun series 7 instead?

    Even the guybteaching you how to use it doesnt follow Phillips instructions for cleaning .They say first steo keep the shaver closed Turn on the shaver and run it under water. He isnt aware of that first step!

      True but we are kinda skipping that one. Opening the shaver and cleaning it like that right from the start worked just fine for us.

      Which one did you use before that? Have you already tried a foilshaver? Those perform better in regards to the shaving results.
