She is simply another version of criminal taking advantage of legal loopholes where crime isn’t being punished. It might be fun to point at CA and say things about how they seem to invite criminal activity. Maybe Abbott and Paxton need to be alerted to the issue. DeSantis got plenty tuff in FL because of squatters being an issue…wake up call!!

@@sopamarucha2388 yes, a check, especially if post dated, is a PROMISE to pay, and a promise is not enforceable. Or I'd walk into the branch and 'Hammer~ the check at their branch: pay to have it certified. sometimes in one business I went to my clients branch three times before money covered the check.

Apparently she was able to get away with her actions for years, so now they have paperwork and in the end she'll be back doing what she's been doing for years. Do not tell me she's that intelligent that she knows all the loopholes. Why wasn't she ever arrested for breaking and entering? It's a stupid story that never has an ending.

Shame on Dallas (area) Police leadership for having to be forced to do their job. Thanks to the individuals willing to give this attention enough that bad actors (criminals) cannot always rely on other bad actors (apathetic leaders) not addressing the best interests of the people. Let’s hope that the DA will get serious as well…oftentimes it is unwilling or uncooperative prosecutors that stifle police work because “why bother if they won’t do anything”.
It is my hope that “someone” will make this an issue enough that the serial squatters cannot just move down the road and hurt more people. Does the FBI still do public service work or are they only working for politicians now?
