I feel like this type of information is important for the casual viewer or new viewer of the sport to understand how athletic these riders are. Really wish they would show riders' heart rates on screen during the broadcast.
@davidbiagi2932 he probably hasn't looked like the shredded 250 Eli training with ryno since probably 250 days lol. There's been photos out there for years where he just looks like a normal dude. Part of that is the altitude he's at. He's not gonna be shredded like that for sure. Not sure how much crossfit he does now, but he used to crossfit a lot
@@davidbiagi2932 Dude you cannot be outta shape a run two 30 min plus 2 motos and be just juts kinda in shape. I'm just a local 450 A scrub and I'm wrecked after two motos. Eli is in better shape than 99% of the riders on this planet I'm sure.
Great videos Alex. Actually agree with Deegan, to much emphasis is placed on long moto’s and not enough on building speed and skill. Long moto’s force you to pace yourself (and require a lot of recovery) so your not finding those opportunities to build speed
Brian made a great comment on moto’s being a thing of the past. It’s like a lot of these ufc fighters they already know how to fight they just need the strength and endurance in the later rounds. Same thing with motocross, a lot of these guys just get burnt out later in the race. Tom Vialle and Levi are great examples, super fast and then lose that edge.
Are we talking pace/miles or kilometres 😂 love how they chop an change. Johnny oh from the last video still takes it for me, I didn’t understand why people thought he was such a legend until I heard his numbers.
Back in the 80's Pro's rode 40 min moto's plus 2 laps x 2 motos on 2 strokes! Most today could 't do 30 min on a 2 stroke. Johnny O show, Bailey, Johnson, Ward, Glover, Chandler, Pederson all legends of the fitest MX racers of all time
why not ask Ken what he does to get fit, instead of asking him questions like how quickly can you run 5K/10K. Obviously those who runs professionally, or hobbyist would 9/10 times beat a motocross racer, but what training does Ken do, to perform on his bike.
I love Moto but these guys aren’t strong. I’m 173 lbs just an average guy 29 yr old and do MMA. I can bench 285, squat 350 and deadlift 425. Also can get up and run 6 miles.
I don’t think you understand how hard it is to work out when you hit the ground like we do, I crashed on a sx track 2 months ago I still can’t do a full workout, these dudes have been doing this since they were kids. Easy when all you got is working out and rest
I benched 240 in high school, farm boy tough. I only weighed in at 120. Picking up and stacking 100-120 pound hay bales all day long will do that for you. Hand milking cows gives you a really powerful grip. 72 years old and still farming. Old man strength and muscle memory is all I have left.
They don’t try to lift heavy and max out, that isn’t good for this sport. You don’t want to be a body builder and getting on a damn dirtbike. Most all of these guys could easily bench way more than they do if they needed. They have to stay lean but strong. But I highly doubt you benched 185 in high school. Proof or it didn’t happen
@@davidbiagi2932 185 is impressive in high school? Are you serious. The enitire football team could do that 😂😂. Ken said it’s his 1 rep max. Go watch chases videos. He can beach 225. Which even that isn’t impressive

You’re doing content that no one else is doing. Totally awesome!
Glad you enjoy it!
Awesome series man! Please get ET on the next one!
Idk about that… he was looking a little chubby after one of the races recently after the moto. Maybe Eli 3-5 years ago, but idk about now lol
In our dreams.
@@davidbiagi2932that’s the dad bod, not out of shape lol

These Team America interviews are some of the best MX interviews I've seen in a while.
Let's goo. Loved the last one
Alex you gotta keep making these, these are gold.
So much value in this video !! Thanks for sharing this. I took away a lot.
Love this type of info from the top guys.
well when Jmar can show up to a profesional cross country mb race and place or win...... that says alot!!!!!!!!!!

Great edit

Love these videos!
It would be cool to know some of the guys’ cycling power numbers
Great video. You should do it more.
They need to have the top 10 riders try out in the Ninja Warrior games. I think they'd dominate that!
Maybe lead in with the vets like what’s their peak. We don’t need 5 minute explanations why you can do what you used too anymore
What’s their vo2 max.
Do more on this track
Going to throw a kicker today for. Pics. Hope he brings bike 17:03 17:07 17:08
0:48 ladybug landed on his shirt. you are welcome
Haiden is the American hope! Absolutely you don’t hit physical peak until 25-27ish

Bob Hannah and Johnny O Mara were the best fit ever!
Damn I’m smaller weight wise than Kenny & my max bench is more & im 32 also about the same age I also exercise Mon-Friday
im not trying to brag but i did 30 pushups and 1minute walls sits
Them wall sits a mf shows u how bad ur core & legs are 😂😂😂
Barcia “ I don’t know anything” he sure knows how to wreck people
"Easy 10 miles"
Brian not giving you anything lol. I can't blame him. Nice try though !
Eli has the most opportunity for the genetic lotto ask him…
Dude you look like Brian deegans little brother 😂
KR is lean!. Look at those quads.
You heard guys?? They are runners... isn't only the gym work buddy.
Too Fit 😂

Aren’t strong lol if you’ve never raced a dirt bike you have no clue being able to lift heavy weight don’t mean your the strongest you sound goofy

185 bench? I could bench that in high school 🤷♂️🤷♂️

And these dude could ride better than you when they were on 65s
Wow. Sick burn. I’m so offended 😂😂
Good attempts Alex. Moto guys aren't athletic without dirt bikes.
Ummm what?? How are they not athletic without dirtbikes?
That’s the dumbest comment ever
@@davidbiagi2932 Because most can't jump for shit, are slow sprinters, and throw like a goon.
Riding is the best way to get fit dude
Why spit so much instead of fly mr
