People are quick to say it’s an old platform. It is but that means it’s reliable and proven. Hard to find a car these days that’s fun, reliable, and good looking. I’d rather have this than something newer that may have issues.
It sounds like the best excuse for an aftermarket sound system. Get a 10” or 12” subwoofer and get the speakers done if they cant keep up with the subwoofer

i wonder how good the mark levinson sound system is, i own a 2021 is 350 with the dynamic handling package and larger navigation screen. Only thing I dont have is the mark levinson sound system and honestly the normal sound system seems great
My 67 year old grandma just bought a 2024 one of these in ultra sonic blue. Its very nice with the brown interior. I just laugh because my grandma bought this car. Drove it for about an hour its nice and all... But not $52k nice imo.
Well hope she likes it! These are nice overall, the F Sport in that color definitely would appeal to a younger buyer lol. But sounds like a cool car overall

@@Jason-mi5rj we try to say something different in the test drive based off comments on previous reviews to help answer a bunch of questions all at once. But we’ve only filmed 3 this year, waiting for something new if that happens for 2025.

Probably a blend of both. My sister in-law had one of these for 5 years. But I also see older people in them. The F-Sport is probably the younger buyers car
no way is it compare to a camry. hug difference in so many ways. comfort being one and the smoothness is crazy Traded a avalon and was shocked how much better the lexus is in soooo many ways
I have a comparison with this and a Camry coming along with the ES. But we get many comments of people asking if they should get a new loaded Camry or this.
ES is basically a suped up Camry. I can say having driven ES loaners, the base package is meh, but the more premium ES is verrrrry comfortable and plush. And the ES is a smooth cushy ride in general. Not sure what a Camry is like, but I was surprised at how nice the ES despite being kinda homely in the looks department

I currently drive a 155k 07 maxima with a cvt that’s the original. Lots of problems and I hate having to worry about what’s gonna break next lol. I just want a luxury car that is decently quick as I have a heavy foot and is dead reliable. Two of my family members have Lexus’s and I know they are the most reliable brand but don’t know if I will be disappointed if it’s not sporty or quick enough.
@@RunRecoverRallyyeah the button layout and look is still nice and classy. Much better than the ES loaner I had. wish they would just yank that touch pad and CD player out and switch out for USB ports and a wireless charge like i the ES
I can’t play anything for copyright reasons, plus audio through a camera filming wouldn’t do it justice for any audio system. That’s something you’ll have to hear in person.

Takes a lot more time for me to watch the video and then respond that info then just information people where the info is. I don’t remember every single cars spec off the top of my head. So if someone really wants to know stuff I’ll tell them where it is on the video. Saves me time so I can keep getting to everyone’s comments.

The F sport is generally more loaded like this one and that racks the price up over 50k. I got the F sport design for 43k as it has traction control and the V6 doesn’t really spin tires anyways. Wish I had the Levinson system though.
Glorified Camry? The IS is rear-wheel drive and Camry is front-wheel drive and totally different body than the Camry and IS's are made in Japan, not the US so the quality assurance is probably better.
So you are disappointed in the performance from the V6 engine? Okay. I don't like the fact that it has a glass sun-roof. I hope it can be purchased without that stupid glass roof!
Once they put twin turbos on the engine then you will live in the shop for repairs. Then the complaints will start. Oh it’s unreliable. Oh Lexus is not how they use to be. Oh Lexus quality is going down. My car has been in the shop for 6 months and the techs can’t figure out what’s going on. Oh Toyota Headquarters said i destroyed my engine in a race and they will not honor my warranty
Plenty of cars have twin turbos. GTR for example. People have 700HP to the wheels and those are bullet proof engines so it’s not out of the norm to have a reliable TT engine. There’s plenty in the market..

Toyota is in big trouble. I predicted Toyota stock was going to drop and to short their stock. It came to past. Toyota went from $252 a share to $171 a share and going down

I just jumped on a 24 black on black with the blackout package and handling package. Put the deposit down and it’s in transit. I’m excited to see it.
