    Man those sirens! Just have their own energy to them

    I've never heard one sound like this one. Whoorl! Whoorl! Whoosh! and that gritty sound. Evil sounding. I've only heard the freight train roar and one of those whistling ones you hear inside a house as the wind sucks the air through.

    Nighttime tornadoes are more terrifying than daytime because obviously you can't see them..
    Adding insult to injury, I live in an area where there are no tornado sirens, at least none that can be heard to wake you in the dead of night, and rely soley on cell phone technology to send emergency alerts, which aren't as sophisticated as one would think...
    Prayers for those affected

      Great video? Anyone could go out on a windy night and pretty much capture the same as what we see here -- which is nothing..

    • @jms1086
      @jms1086 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SineEyed yep, they did a good job capturing the funnel image at about 1:20, which is difficult to do at night. They also captured the sound of the storm because they were that close. Hats off to these brave souls that go out and do storm chasing work - not an easy job and not without risk.

    As the Suburbs of America continue to expand ever outward . The odds of seeing scenes such as this one will also sadly increase .

    With the crazy blizzards to the north, the unseasonably warm air to the south, tornadoes are going to happen.

    • @wiscogirl81
      @wiscogirl81 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @jeremylong3802 True, however, the severity, frequency, and abnormal weather occurrences happening where it is not typical is indeed a product of climate change whether people want to acknowledge it or not.
      Our Earth is ANGRY with us and is giving us a HUGE WARNING that if we don't change our ways, we will cease to exist

      @@wiscogirl81 This is how the weather used to be. It is going back to a cyclical normal. High snowfall in the Sierra Nevadas which fed lake Mead. Rainfall in Cali which kept up the reservoirs! The only difference is more southerly tornadoes which could change at any time. We just have to see if it stays this way! We will cease to exist no matter what. Then all things are reborn again!

    • @marysimmons7502

      I used to live in Memphis TN and lots of really bad storms, when they get to the Mississippi river they split like that and usually don't do much but thunder and rain. Then, they reorganize just before Jackson or the TN river and become crazy tornados again.

    drives me nuts when storm chasers announce everything that we can see on the video, like a sports caster . why is this... its annoying. i.e. power flashes !!! lights flickering !!! really? i chased storms myself and never announced these things, instead i was on the phone with local authorities reporting the funnel, instead of making videos for u-tube to make money.
