Hi Dave was a friend of mine I'm pretty familiar with the 49 Plymouth we yeusd to drive it around his farm it ran like a new car we never had brakes we yeusd the e-brakes the miles is actual Dave bought it frome the miles .Dave bought it from the original owner it was a little old lady I forgot her name that what he nickname it it was always garage kept up till Dave got it and was still a beautiful car till his health prevented him from taking care of his cars as far as the miss goes it could be a bad plug wire or a stuck valve it should be a easy fix I have some pictures of it polished up I'll share if I can find them hopefully this helps and thank you for saving it if any questions you can get my number frome the guy you bout it from
Working on rebuilding the carb and fuel pump, that may help with the miss as well. The next step is going to be getting the floors fixed so a person wont fall through.
You won't be sorry it does run like a new one once you get it up and going again I'm happy to see it in good hands
