China is basically 100% automated with port operations with only and tiny crew of technicians and supervisors to monitor the operations. USA is being left in the dust by China in automation, electrification, manufacturing, etc, etc. We need someone that is going to step up and lead this country and make America the leader of the world AGAIN.

Hate crime. Cause the lack of leadership and ability to deter traffic to a Navy land base for offloading is ridiculous. Clear the traffic. Press charges for Kidnapping. Fight back against terrorists.

Remember Reagan and his strong stance with the cocky airline traffic controllers? They were so sure that they could not be replaced.

Automation is inevitable. But i dont think people realize the impact this will be in the future. Your goods will not be cheaper youll just recieve demands quicker.. in the case of the dockworkers thats 45,000 taxable income. Most of that dissappears with automation.. Now the corporations have all the power and then we will be at there mercy... the future suffer the most. we only look at the now. and dont care about our childern or childern's children.

This needs to happen across the entire country.

Isn't it funny that these pundits from all these networks are quick to talk spit about people who actually wake up at 5am and put in 12 hours worth of work in the elements. Yesterday Fox business was saying that the average crane operator cleared half a million dollars a year and still wanted more. I don't know if they are jealous or incompetent?

The automation factor is a bargaining chip. The reason the ILA said zero automation is because the union will come back with an offer that slows the progression of automation but guarantees jobs at the same time. More jobs = more dues. The union leaders are not luddites. They know they can't fight technology so they have to secure positions that can't get eliminated. It's called leverage, and they have it. Fyi, they have time cards that get swiped for when they clock in and out. I'm not sure what shes talking about.

They already make more money then most workers and have good retirement packages. Union bosses have made them greedy and wanting to retire with the rich and famous. Their demands are unreasonable. They were offered 50% pay increase. Reasonable people would be happy with that. Union bosses have convinced them that they can not be replaced. However......

Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.

I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started investing. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.

Solution: Lease out all the ports to China's Ports Authority. They will automate them all within a short time as they have their own. Make them partners from then on. No more being taken hostage by workers.
