Stephen A. FLO. had Tua, he also had Waddle hie last year , and had a better defense, but missed the playoffs in back to back years. Flo couldn't develop a offense. The only difference is hill , a great offensive mind in mcdaniel and a coach that believes in his qb.
I disagree with Smith. Flores did all that he could to chase Tua away. It wouldn't have made a difference about the supporting cast. I have been a fan since the late 60s. Became very spoiled when Don Shula was the HC. I am now 68, and hoping for the fins to again become a factor in our division.
You also gotta take account for McDaniels personality. I'd much rather play for someone like MM vs Flores... This is coming from someone that was PISSED when they fored Flores but now I'm happier than ever with Miami
I think Stephen A don't get the fact that Mr. Flores #1 couldn't put together a competent offensive coordination. #2 Mr. Flores couldn't get Coaches or Players on the offensive side of the ball. And I believe it was because of Mr. Flores Dictorial style. Not to mention how he tried to take Mr. Grier's job. This isn't really spoke about by Stephen A. So I'm not sure if he's aware, or Purposely ignored.
Flores had 2 offensive coordinators o. The team....Flores hired a 80 year old coordinator running a playbook for dummies offense...Flores could of had 4 Hills and wouldn't have a clue how to use them...
Waddle was drafted by flores his last year in mia he had Waddle. Even if Tyreek was there as well Flores specialty is defensive while McDaniel is offensive no way in hell would Flores have that amount of success. Stephen A this is one of those lazy takes Dan O. talked about with the media
Flores won with significantly less Talent especially on Offense he really only had Waddle.Yes flo could keep a proper offensive staff n he still won so let’s not diminish Flo simply cause he didn’t want Tua
Alotta talk about what Tua has accomplished, what has Herbert done? The “better” player according to some with much better offensive weapons right through the door as Stephen A said, yet he hasn’t won shit either
If Brian Flores had those people which he actually did have Jaylen waddle, then he would’ve let it go to waste just like he did with Tua so why can you not accept that Stephen?! You saw what he did with those players the problems he created yeah, the defense was great and all, but on the offensive side of the bowl, they were trash and that was his fault,… you really must be delusional
Flores was wrong about Tua and needs to stick to coaching linebackers/defenses end of story. Doesn't matter who he wanted the boss wanted Tua Tagovailoa & Flores got himself fired
What I think Stephen A is trying to say is that. Mike McDaniels didn't help the dolphins do a complete 180° when it comes to success. Yes he's coached them to the playoffs two years in a row, bravo. But with his offensive situation; which is Tyreek Hill being your WR1, Jaylen Waddle being your WR2, having a number 5 overall pick under center in Tua, I'd be more disappointed if they didn't make the playoffs than I am impressed that they did. And as a Miami Dolphin fan I'm not too much of a fan of Mike McDaniels because of the style of offense he runs and his play calling, however I understand he's still not ripe when it comes to being a head coach since this is his first stint. So my hopes are in the fact that he did make it to the playoffs two years in a row; because if he didn't I would have lost all hopes in him, and he does have room to grow. But to say after these two years he's done anything special is a stretch to me. And no I don't believe he deserves the contract but as a team I believe it is in their best interest to invest in him and see what he can do.
I’m so tired of this shit that just aimlessly pours out of Steven A’s mouth… I recall Brian Florez throwing Tua Tagovailoa into the dirt with no support and no confidence. Of course the quarterback has to have a great relationship with the head coach because as all this proves is that it works wonders to have a healthy positive team/organization with a known destination for a cultureinstead of aimlessly going out there hating your job like what is this guy talking about Mike McDaniel this organization around a complete 180
And not foe nothing, did "Max" get a Fair shake on your show? Was Max treated Fairly? Did he not give better arguments, and or upstage Stephen A in their debates. Seems like a hypocrite to me.
Flores did have waddle and they threw 3 yard passes to him. Stephen A again has no idea what he’s talking about.

I believe Tua made the offense win the games with Flores . Tua had davente Parker and gekski at best .
No one mentions that Flores tried to get Watson so he would have never gotten Tyreek because those picks would have been sent to the Texans
Stephen A. FLO. had Tua, he also had Waddle hie last year , and had a better defense, but missed the playoffs in back to back years. Flo couldn't develop a offense. The only difference is hill , a great offensive mind in mcdaniel and a coach that believes in his qb.
Wish they would make Stephen a go live and apologize for not knowing rosters
He never gets tired of being wrong - Shannon - why is he even on.
I really wish Stephen A Smith would do research before speaking. Brian Flores never won 10 games in a season smh.
Brian Flores was just as good of a coach as Angel Reese is a shooter
He did have waddle SA. And it would have been different if he had Tyrek as well.
Brian Flores drafted Waddle. Stephan A. Needs to do his homework.
WTH? Tua & Flores was winning with the corner store employees offense. Dang.... this is crazy
Flores admitted the way he treated Tua , Steve get a clue
Stephen A.knows dick about Flo’s ineptness on taking care of the offense as HC. Nobody wanted to coach with him.
Flores couldn't choose a decent offensive coordinator to save his life.
Stephen a Smith is crazy
AFC Title game will be in south Beach.🎉
My opinion is also lets not forget. Mike mcdaniel DOVE head first trying to get tyreek hill. Not many coaches wouldve done that. Its cost us.
Flores wanted DeShawn Watson not Tua smh
Flores had 2 offensive coordinators o. The team....Flores hired a 80 year old coordinator running a playbook for dummies offense...Flores could of had 4 Hills and wouldn't have a clue how to use them...
How much farther has Herbert got over tua?
Waddle was drafted by flores his last year in mia he had Waddle. Even if Tyreek was there as well Flores specialty is defensive while McDaniel is offensive no way in hell would Flores have that amount of success. Stephen A this is one of those lazy takes Dan O. talked about with the media
Flores didn't win 10 games, he did have Tua and despite Tua having zero weapons and a God awful coach he still went 6-3 his rookie year
In tuas rookie yr we went 10-6, flores had a good defense I'll admit but tua balled out that yr
Flores won with significantly less Talent especially on Offense he really only had Waddle.Yes flo could keep a proper offensive staff n he still won so let’s not diminish Flo simply cause he didn’t want Tua
Flores could have had Tom Brady, so this dude didn't want to win
Stephen A right
Defense, defense, defense...
Alotta talk about what Tua has accomplished, what has Herbert done? The “better” player according to some with much better offensive weapons right through the door as Stephen A said, yet he hasn’t won shit either
Stephen forgets that coaches also bring in the players….If Flores would had been still there Tyreek might have went to another team
Flo wanted justin??? Stephen screams breaking news now 8:57
What I think Stephen A is trying to say is that.
Flores don't draft offensive players.
Steven A says the same shit about Tua and Miami every debate 🤣🤣🤣
Brian Flores couldn’t run an offense nor could he even get a decent OC he didn’t care about the offense.
Jeff Saturday how many games do you want as the colts
I’m so tired of this shit that just aimlessly pours out of Steven A’s mouth… I recall Brian Florez throwing Tua Tagovailoa into the dirt with no support and no confidence. Of course the quarterback has to have a great relationship with the head coach because as all this proves is that it works wonders to have a healthy positive team/organization with a known destination for a cultureinstead of aimlessly going out there hating your job like what is this guy talking about Mike McDaniel this organization around a complete 180
He didn’t want Herbert he wanted Jordan Love, he wanted a position player at 5 and come back and get Jordan love not Herbert
U see the game jaguars clobbered dolphins in every ways you could imagine. All talk and no substance. 😢
Those are 2 different couches Mike is way smarter
And not foe nothing, did "Max" get a Fair shake on your show? Was Max treated Fairly? Did he not give better arguments, and or upstage Stephen A in their debates. Seems like a hypocrite to me.
How many teams are from the South and other teams are from the North with no dome
Is that bad thing if a Front office hires a HC based off his relationship with the QB? I mean that would be the focal point of my hire if i was hiring
Flores would have messed it up.
