      Once you try it it's over! I can't imagine anyone running this saw and thinking "this is not the saw for me."

    Just a couple things from my Stihl dealer based on comments you made. He said to prime it every time you start even if it has just been a couple minutes. And to let it run on idle for a minute or two before cutting with it because it gets hot quick when you’re running it and the piston can expand quick if its not properly warmed up and can wreck the cylinder. You might verify those things but thought I would pass them along. Nice job on the video.

      Don't let the video editing fool you, I made sure to let her warm up before sinking her into some wood at full throttle. Will make sure to prime her every time from here on out. Thank you for the info and thank you for watching my man!

    I just got one of these and yeah its has instant response. Yes it will ruin you for other saws 🤣. I dont know if it actually has "more" power than other saws in its cc class but it gives all it has immediately. Making "feel" more powerful. For me its the power to weight ratio. There are more powerful saws but they are much heavier and larger displacement. The only negative I can say is it does love fuel. Its a thirsty beast. As the saying goes there is no such thing as a free lunch. That instant power comes at a cost of more fuel consumption. With all that it is still as close to perfection for what I use a saw for as you can get. Its a great saw.

    • @ForestHogOutdoors
      @ForestHogOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You ain't kidding man, instant! Can carry this thing around all day without getting tired, its just the extra tank of fuel that gets heavy haha

    Put a Egan bark box on it and it will wake it up a lot. Run the oiler wide open to save the bar.

    you should always warm up your saw certainly when fresh. i heard you say it slowed down cause of the bar not really you were dawging a little to hard if your gonna dawg get a v8 chainsaw you have to give the saw a chance i noticed when the saw was cutting on its own there was no bogging guys who dog to much are really labouring there saw and cutting slower nice saw good luck cheers

      Thanks for the tip Wayne. I do let the saw warm up upon starting I just edited it out in this video. As for dogging the saw, it was my first time running it so I wanted to see how much pressure it can take before she started bogging down. Gotta know the limits you know what I mean. Thanks for watching.
