I have a heated airer in our spare room. When this is on overnight, in the morning there is moisture / condensation on the inside of the windows. Ive only had the Airer for several weeks and its the first time ive seen it in 5 years. When we dont use the airer we dont get condensation on the inside of the windows.

Yes when hot moist air hits cold glass it will turn from moist air into water drops and run down your window

Raspberry pi might be something that could do the job,but coding could be a little difficult

Would a dehumidifier do the same/better for less??

Not tried one but I know people use them, I think it would take longer but apart from that I don’t know.

Hi Jim, it’s 300 watts so at 34p/kWh it is about 10-11 pence an hour.
