Hey, thank you from France!! For two different microphones on an acoustic I would try and xy pattern. So you can get the best of both worlds, one mic pointing towards the lower end of the acoustic and the other, pointing towards the neck to get some of the pic and string sound. The only thing with recording with two mics is watching out for phase issues :-) does that help?
