@@shaunc.1865 Well, I think it's a good thing because just like in real life ( or, even in the show ) regardless of how big or little the movement is, it requires "energy" (Ki) to do so. Like, when Vegeta was fighting Android 18 for example. Plus, it adds more of an element to Tactic's/Strategy having to take into consideration that even the smallest dash taxes you. ( This is just my opinion, obviously. )

Ki blast spamming is super detrimental in this game. We have to learn to hit those or use them properly because giving the enemy free Skill Point is while also wasting ki is undeniable defeat.
And it's super easy to deflect ki blasts
Luna ended up dodging the Gotenks ultimate with Tapion since you can see the green dash sparks that Tapion has.

they haven't said anything, and considering they couldn't be bothered to implement a *proper* split screen, which kills local tournaments unless they have LAN for consoles... o7

Energy balls weren't great in Tenkaichi indeed, but they had the particular advantage to do consecutive hits and so you still had a chance to hit your opponent even after they dodge the first hit. It was better at chasing basically, not so much to deal damage.
I know why you thought you can play and unlock Giru in Tenkaichi 3. It's because you can play as Pilaf in his super similar tiny round robot. When you said it I also thought I remembered he was playable but was confused to not remember from where.

I hope to see some Super Garlick Jr. gameplay and some meta Cooler gameplay (given that in BT3 I used those+grandpa Goahn, Muten Roshi Max power, Tao Pai Pai, which at one point was believed to be in, and Al Satan), but given their popularity I don't see it coming to fruition. Oh well 2 weeks. Ehi maybe in Y2 we will get master Mutaito playble for the first time ever, albeit I don't see it having realistic chances given that he was in filler (I think) and the precursor to Earth's ki techniques, so he didn't use rays but augmented his martial arts with it to extend power and reach.

I don’t think Luna understood what she was doing . I’m sure ko blast will be good but if it’s like the previous games a dragon dash makes u invulnerable to ki blast , u can block them ( they do chip damage but not a lot ) and you should be able to deflect them

Ki blasts seem to do more damage than in previous games indeed, but supposedly you just have to tap or hold guard to deflect them, so I’m not so sure it will be that much more useful than what it used to be, I think the Vegeta player just don’t know how to defend it 🤷🏻♂️

6:41 I think they're pretty situational. Like, you shouldn't use them over normal blasts and beams that track fine, but its ok to use them say if you knock them on the ground or if you're fighting a giant. They don't suck, but volleys aren't your best option.
More than anything i'm surprised that they bring hololive to promote the game. Don't get me wrong I love hololive, I just think that is a curious decision.

You're all gonna get wiped out by spammers and glitchers. That's how online DBZ evolution works. It's easier to 'cheat', so people will do so, and it will prompt others to copy, either out of frustration or spite. Only the top 20% of fighters who can deal with that pressure will be the top fighters. Raging Blast 2 & Xenoverse was the exact same thing. Wait and see.
