I am having problems with my epoxy going over and messing up the other side. I have tried sitting it on something instead of dripping off it goes on the back. I also tried putting it on a waffle silicone. The best I’ve found is a silicon mat. I don’t feel like I’m putting too much and I am just making sure it is going to the edge. I would like to see tutorial on that
I read somewhere that the wet method does not work well with indoor vinyl and that you should use outdoor vinyl. I am referencing to Oracal 631 and 651. 651 being the permanent. Is this correct? Loved your video. Very professional and well detailed.
Nikita Ashley Customs Thank you, I’m going to order some to give this a try. I’ve done a handful of keychains, but have heard the wet method is the way to go.
Great information...thanks for sharing. Love the glittered blank! Did you mix your glitter in your epoxy and then add to your blank? And are you putting the vinyl on a blank side of the circle or is that on top of the glitter/epoxy? Looks great! Thanks for the tips!
Angie M I put my epoxy onto the blank first and then added my glitter. And yes, I flipped my keychain over to add the vinyl to the other side. You can definitely add vinyl to a side with epoxy just make sure it’s smooth because the vinyl will show all flaws. Thank you and you’re very welcome!!
Thank you so much! I did a few keychains & had air bubbles but never used this method!! I will definitely be trying this wet method !!!
I hope this helps you get a nice, smooth application of your vinyl!
Great video!! What is on the other end of your scraper?
Great video! I am learning to make tumblers and these would be great to use the little leftover epoxy. Where do you order your blanks from?

I wonder if wide masking tape would work instead of the paper transfer tape? I know some people use it to transfer.
Thank you!!! I found myself searching for this method because of air bubbles in my vinyl.

I have never heard that and have never personally had an issue with using the wet method with 631 vinyl.
@@NikitaAshleyCustoms Thank you for responding. I am going to try it.
Thanks for the great tutorial! Where do you buy the transfer tape you use in this video?
Nichole Salinas I got this on Amazon and it’s from Craftopia.

It definitely makes a huge difference! Have fun!!
Great tutorial. Have you ever thought about putting a sketch light under your blank to help line your decal up?
That is a great idea!
I usually use a headlamp to help me see through the transfer tape
Thank you. I was so frustrated trying to do my first one today.
I'm glad this video could be helpful!
Hi wondering does the soap and water affect how well the vinyl will stick and last?
I have not personally seen vinyl have issues staying in place when applied with the wet method.
Is it better to use 651 permanent? Cause I was using a no name brand and it wouldn't stick even after it dried. UGG
How long do you have to let your blank sit after doing the wet method before you seal with say UV resin?
I use to do mine a the end of the day so they could dry overnight
Thank you for sharing! Can you layer your vinyl with the paper transfer paper and then use the wet method?
I have never done that but it would definitely be worth a shot!

Awesome! Thank you!
You’re very welcome!
what paper transfer tape do you recommend?
I really like the paper transfer tape from Expressions Vinyl
Thank you for the tutorial. Which glitter from yayas. I love their glitter! Thanks again!
I think it is called Fruity Pebbles --- you're welcome!!
I have to apply a VERY LARGE decal on the back end of a travel trailer - would this method word on that large of a scale as well?
Yes, definitely! If I remember correctly Expressions Vinyl has a video showing the process for a larger decal.
