Great trip my sunny coast son did it in a 25 foot trailer sailor then bought a beneteau 40 and sailed it for 5 years, he now lives in a house with his wife 2 kids
I know! I really wanted to go but the weather and timing just wasn't right unfortunately. Just means I have an excuse to head back out on the water to Percy!
@@peterjones2893 Hey Peter, it’s a Mercury 240 with an air deck. When not in use I roll it up and stow in one of the aft berths. I also have a 2.5hp outboard I put on it when needing to travel further. I inflate it on the cabin top with a manual pump. It’s a great tender. An electric pump would make life easier but it’s not a necessity
Another good video mate, good to see you in my home port shame the weather was garbage for you. If your takin suggestions for next year you should try constantine, perl bay, hexham, middle percy if the weather suits. Lookin forward to the next one
Thanks mate! It wasn't the best time of year to do the trip however due to other commitments it was the only time for me to go. I will put those on the list for my next trip, just not sure when that will be. Thanks for the support
Thanks for posting. Getting lots of ideas and info as I plan to take my TS up that way soon.
Glad to hear! I watched Simon Carters videos multiple time to get ideas and know what I was in for. Good luck with your own trip.
Love your videos what a great trip, reminds me of Simon Carter.😊
These little 7m TS yachts are brilliant adventure machines. 👍🏻🙂
Looks like a great adventure mate, I’m really enjoying your watching your journey
Great trip good luck
Leckies Creek is a great spot to dry out
Took 53ftcat in there over 20yrs ago a couple of times on the top of the tide.
Enjoy your videos.

Bummer you missed Percy. Especially in a trailer sailer you could have sat in the lagoon for weeks like we did.

What is the make and size is your tender, how do you inflate it, and also where do you stow it.
