It might be your AMSR trigger. I was reading an article about it and baking/cooking videos. Basically the visual and audio makes you relaxed. Some people have a really fitting voice for it.
By now my raving and drooling over your baking talent is getting repetitive. And I have already told you how much I admire your flawless nails. (Today is no exception, BTW.) So now I will move on to the third thing about you that I love... Your hair! I love the way you keep it current. Also, I notice all the small changes you do just to mix things up: waves, sleekness, bangs, no bangs, etc., etc. You ROCK IT every single day!! You are a great example of how an adult woman can keep her hair current and attractive without becoming frumpy or desperately adolescent. You work with your hair's tendencies, not against them, and it shows. Seriously, you are now my baking, manicure, AND hair role model. Love ya! 😎 You are the coolest, ever!

SunshineMx100 Thanks so much! I'm loving the jellybeans too...you could pretty much use any candy on top, but I found so many of them in such great colours that I couldn't resist!
My younger brother and I made this cake but instead of using jelly belly jellybeans for the top we used rainbow skittles about a week ago for a friend of mine's birthday. Thanks again for the recipe, it turned out perfect!

Rebekah Varney - if you are only going to get one spatula, get an offset one; it will work like a flat one (because it is flat) for the purposes of icing this cake and will be a lot more handy than just a flat spatula. just mho
If you do that, your cake would not last very long. Fruits spoil quickly. I guess it's okay if you're making a small cake. I have a weird twist on cakes with fruits. I buy the dried fruits from Trader Joe's and then macerate the fruits in alcohol. So good! A day or 2 - or even months!
I love your videos and recipes! I also think you are extremely talented on camera... Very clear and precise in when you cut and resume and explaining steps. Very neat!
Do any of you know that Caleb died from brataley I'm so sad because he died so I wrote team Caleb in purple on my hand and I wore purple all day even when I was sleeping so rest in peace Caleb
for my English student teachers going away party i made a 7 layer rainbow cake! I made sure the outside looked as plain as possible so no-one would think the inside was so epic ;P he loved it! it took i think 6 maybe 7 hours (as i had to separate, color, and bake the layers separately) to make, and sweet mother of God was it heavy. I think that has to be one of the best cakes I've baked and decorated!

This was awesome and so much more doable than trying to make a rainbow cake with dyed cakes! My only wish is that you had done a time lapse of the frosting and decorating instead of cutting to the finished parts...but that's just because I like to watch the whole process...and time lapse in general. Great video with excellent narration!
