She managed to make the inside of the cake all rainbow, but the outside didn't work out 😅. We ended up leaving the icing on the outside white with little colourful flowers. Still a great cake none the less. 😂 Perhaps I will try it again some day and complete the whole inside and outside. 🎉

My rainbow cake came out perfect. I used two boxes of Duncan Hines white cake mix to make four layers... red, yellow, blue and green. I used three tubs of Duncan Hines cream cheese frosting, and left it that way. The cakes will rise and become dome-shaped in the middle, so be sure to cut off the dome because if you don't, your layers will break when you stack them. I learned that through trial and error. LOL
This came up as a suggested video. I swear I saw it before, but I'm watching it again because who doesn't love rainbows? They're like unicorns, only they exist...? ;) lol Just one question: Indigo? bwahahaha That cheeky camera dude made me laugh. That was truly a beautiful cake :)

I've just made this and the colours are amazing! I am so so pleased with it. Was not brave enough to do the top decorating so I'm covering with smarties and putting a MR MEN icing border around it with a nexo knight cake topper on top. My son's party is on Saturday. Thank you!

it would be very nice if you could also use the metric system because no one has a plan about what an inch is or cups. that would also be better for you because people outside of the USA could bake your cakes and start watching you :)
