It's a shame the game had a short roster. Would have been cool if Diesel and Owen Hart were in the game.

      @sororitysleepawaymortuary1659 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

could have used Diesel for sure. the game still has great replayability though. it's fast paced and well made. i still do a run through and try to beat it quite often. the sequel In Your House had Owen Hart but was missing Mankind.

The best versions of WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game are the 32X and MS-DOS versions of the game because they are closer to the arcade version. This old game needs an online play remake and it needs to be renamed WWE WrestleMania: The Arcade Game with an updated roster, the options to create your own wrestler and your own move-set, the option to play online with your friends and vice versa.

I still play Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game from time to time. One of my guilty pleasures. Not a deep game like most arcade ports at the time, but it is very fun to play. I like the ridiculous moves like Doink's Joy Buzzer, Undertaker using an actual Tombstone, Yokozuna flying across the ring to sit on an opponent and Bam Bam Bigelow's top rope headbutt setting the opponent on fire if it connects just to name a few.

I received this by request for Christmas in 1995 on Playstation. It was an absolute blast to play with friends, and less so against the cheap CPU. The outrageous move sets of the characters combined with the combo system did give it a fighting game feel and I still consider it a sort of fighting game today. Definitely one of those games that I'll never forget.

Video was well put together but you missed out on a lot of the behind-the-scenes drama. Undertaker refused to do any filming until somebody got him a bottle of Jack, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart were true professionals but razor was bombed out of his mind. It took yoko literally in our to walk from the front to the building to the back of Midway studios where the filming was taken place. The super Nintendo version was missing both Yoko and Bam Bam due to the slower processor speed and memory constraints. I did a pretty comprehensive video on its which is up on my channel if you're curious. I also show a picture of Adam bomb doing the motion capture work for his character.

Never played it because I was never a fan of Mortal Kombat.
How about doing a video focusing on the best wrestling game series Fire Pro?

Looks, plays and just IS at least ten times better than any wrestling game on the past 15-20 years.

Wasn't the In Your House PlayStation game, developed by the same team that develops Mortal Kombat?

Huh...I had no idea Wrestlefest/Wrestlemania used a lot of the same elements of Double Dragon, although now that he mentioned it I can tell that both games are very similar. Plus, there's a brand new Radical Review for the Legend of Zelda.

I can’t work out which game I like more - as the greatest wrestling game, this arcade game or Wrestlefest. It’s actually very tough for me to choose.

Depends on whether you want a more serious wrestling game or an over the top game that's more about having fun.

I'd go with wrestlefest, more dramatic and the wild battle royal mode was a blast especially in multiplayer

This also was ported to PC, which was still somewhat of a rarity in those days. As I remember, it was pretty damned close to the arcade machine, but it's been a bit..so I could be wrong.

Royal Rumble has got to be the next one! I got all four WWF arcade machines so the attitude era and only Dreamcast port gets it's time to shine. Or at least spotlight to glow maybe.

This was a great game that I played for many hours with my friends as a kid. I'm surprised the formula wasn't picked up by other wrestling games. This game is still pretty much unique as far as I know.

Played it on Megadrive. It was the only Wrestling game I ever liked, others didn't even come close.
By the way Bam Bam Bigelow had a probably unintended combo which if finished with a throw didn't deplete the combo bar letting you use it again and again.

yep it's the 1994 roster. this was pre Mania 10 when they did the digitized capturing though as Shawn Michaels was still wearing his cow pattern zebra tights.
