Billy, the 100 year old man has returned.
He was born to be a mentor, that character was 55 when he was 16.
They did such a great job on his new face. Looks just like him. I hope the new Zack face looks as good as this. They did an absolutely terrible job on Zach & Aisha’s faces.
After putting in a pre-order for this figure through gamestop and waiting months for them to get it in stock (which NEVER happened) i finally said “screw it”, canceled the order, and purchased one through Hasbro Pulse.
It came like 3 days later and i opened it up last night.
…maybe it was just the month of anticipation (and jealousy of seeing everyone else get theirs) but I’m way happier and more impressed than I expected to be with this guy!
He’s got a solid paint job, all the correct accessories, and I’d say the minor design updates all made this worth it.
If you’ve been debating in your head about getting him I say go for it 👍🏽
…I also got Trini at the same time and am happy with her too…even though I think the first version’s head sculpt was better on hers.

This is my first dive into the MMPR team. I was waiting to hop into LT until they did OO, but... it's been 4 years and I'm not waiting anymore. Plus, I don't want this team to pass me by again.
The morpher would work for "back to action" morph sequences, but yeah mostly the accessories will be used for civilian customs.
I have the entire Legacy MMPR team but I have four of the MMPR Lightning Collection team. I had a chance on buying MMPR Lightning Collection Blue I walked away in the store back in 2019 thinking there would be always more in stock and was I so so so wrong.
Very good figure, enjoyed this review. On mine unfortunately his left leg snapped at the knee, the upper part of the knee joint was fuzed to the leg. Hopefully it's an isolated thing, not discouraging anybody that wants one, just be aware of the joints.
Shame this didn't come out before the selfie series because you could have used the glasses on your selfie figures.
Life is funny. About a week or so after I was able to find Billy at a decent price, and complete my MMPR season 1 team, the Remastered version was announced. Still bought it though since the nostalgia is strong in me.
The thing about the white parts of LC figures, I really don't believe the difference is caused by yellowing, more of the plastic used is either off-white or pure white. Look at Zeo Blue and Zeo Red, blue is pure white but red is off-white but blue is and older figure.
That's what I was thinking. It's just sorta hard to tell
@@TokuTopics from what I remember, figs with pure white parts I use to compare with the off-white figs are:
Zeo blue
In Space pink
SPD Omega
Dino Thunder White

So far I put off getting MMPR blue and yellow until closer to release date of the others plus I saw a tiny rumor/speculation that MMPR black’s release would be included in a rerelease of them. The “remastered” line is what got me into lightning figure collecting as I’ve wanted to for a while and the improved Rita is oddly what hooked me. So far I’ve got Finster & Pudgy Pig.
That rumor is true. He is being released with a restock of these

I told myself I wouldn't get these since I have all of the others... but I've got Blue and Yellow with the others preordered, so I guess I lied to myself.
the others won't go to waste though, I'll be giving them to my son for Christmas
