Yea I know now, i just saw a video of an hands on from it, and it doesn't bother me at all either, i really want this phone a lot, it is so beautiful looking and awesome, but i want to see what nokia is going to have later on in days too about WP8 phones, thank you to at least letting me know
the samsung focus s II is supposed to be the breakthrough windows phone device from samsung, being the windows phone equivalent of the samsung galaxy s III. now this ativ S seems pretty kick ass so i'm really wondering what the focus s II is going to bring to the table O.o

I know little about Android phones. I myself like the look and user experience of the Modern UI (Windows Phone 8). The price/quality range for WP8 is looking to be mostly mid-to-upper. Maybe there'll be lower price devices later. WP so far has less apps than Android... (I think it's no problem unless they don't have something you really want/need). WP has Microsoft Office... Android UI is more customizable. WP8 hardware will be supported for 18+ months. Android suffers fragmentation. That help?

i am not saying it can't handle simple apps but things like increased screen resolution and NFC and other things like that the hardware has no need for because it can't do it anyway. This happens with apple phones too, after soo many upgrades certain hardware can't run certain apps properly so they get cut off.

I have not even seen Cnet even mention that the Samsung conference in Germany had a Ativ phone shown already. Wow, I guess I'm a few weeks late. All we hear about in the USA is the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC Windows Phone 8X models. Its a toss up between a WP8 phone and a LG Optimus G which has high tech battery saving features, battery design and uses 50 percent less power keeping your screen white and bright and readable to the eye.
SkyDrive (why use anything else?), NFC, built in, Remote Control uhh yeah they could make their own but I'm sure there will be plenty in the Marketplace.

Samsung must provide more exclusive apps for Windows Phone like = "Samsung Cloud", Exchanging files between Samsung Devices - From Android to Windows and from Windows to Android , Remote Control to other devices (TVs PCs ) e.t.c .

For those who want ativ s with Android maybe can try Android custom ROM on this phone. It's still Samsung product anyway. Remember the day when phone firmwares could be switched, k750 and w800 anyone? But both of them were based on java.

Sorry i put iphone 2 time, I was mean the SGS3 ( beside i love the SGS3 but the truth is Nokia is going to blow a few smartphone) 1280 x 768 res, Pixel density 332 ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass, PureMotion HD. Wh do I need the retina display when the N Lumia 920 looks better.)

Yeah, your right. But don't get me wrong I will still get this over the 920 it just has that simplistic touch to it and doesn't mean I don't like Nokia in fact I own a 920 but, I've been waiting for Samsung to make a high-end windows phone and I think this is the one for me :)

I seriously hope Samsung Atvertises this phone. This is actually tied into the Ativ Tablet so I'm hoping they will. They can actually sell this.

Not much really i'm using a samsung WP7 device right now but i wish i had a lumia900, it's prettier and they get way more premium and unique apps. Samsung doesn't do that much for it's windows phones they release a phone and just forget about it, maybe now with the Apple thing they will focus more on WP but i'll go with Nokia because i'm sure that i'm going to get the best thing possible.

Both parties have a patent cross-licensing agreement. Apple will never touch Microsoft and vice versa. Microsoft can do whatever they fuck they want to do which is a huge plus for us Windows Phone users.

My personal choice has always been Android. Windows Phone in my opinion is a phenomenal mobile OS. I'm just waiting until their marketplace grows and expands and then I'll probably ditch Android once it does. And its not gonna take a long time because they already hit over a 100,000 apps! The fastest growing marketplace!

I am not A Dumb As You think. I have used Both and can say that Android Lags, even sometimes it crashes, user needs to forceclose the app which is crashed, Windows phone 7.5 runs smooth, never lags, No any kind of crash, and If you think that android is good because it has more apps and better customizations,... Thats not the reason for beating Windows Phones. Its time for you to try WP7.5. and Change your Thoughts.. :)

Yeah you're right. Samsung puts more effort into Android phones more than Windows Phone. But Nokia puts more in Windows Phone more than anyone else I think.

i hav bought s2 then s3 but m not satisfied with cheap plastic casing m waiting for aluminium hardcore casing but samsung is too late for all this even now a days there are lot of problems in samsung smart phones now samsung in going down....!!
