A masterful speech by Robert Jackson more importantly this trial was not a victors justice, but a template for an international criminal court , and that due process of law applies even to the most evil of men

An extraordinary opening statement !! His use of language expresses the case perfectly.
I can only imagine how those animals felt. He destroyed them with words . They knew they were finished when he concluded his statement. A devastating opening that expressed their malevolence so well.

Amazing eloquent speech. Very emotional for me. Bare in mind this man never finished law school, he was a natural. And to the people that criticize him for “losing it” against the defendant, I want to ask you would you not lose it against a man that ordered to kill millions? After thousands of your own countrymen had just lost their lives in the war? I completely understand him, this wasn’t a normal trial with normal defendants.

I agree. He is so admirable. He is outstanding. His presentations were unbelievable. Check out the Netflix series. It's not easy to watch, however it's more informative than the propaganda we tend to end up reading.

I noted some of these Pigs, not Speer , had headphones on , like Fat Herman , but did not wear them on their ears thus unwilling to listen. They should have been forced by whatever means necessary to listen to every word.

There also were war crimes trials in Tokyo. The National WWII Museum in New Orleans has a good overview of this at www.nationalww2museum.org/war/topics/tokyo-war-crimes-trial

The slogan for the Second World War is never again" but I don't know why the nazis turned on the Jewish people, not that there is justification or rhythm or reason but to prevent it happening again that answer is important, I don't think this will happen again to the Jewish people but as we see in China, Burma, India, Bosnia etc it is happening again,

The arrogance demonstrated by most of the accused is just unbelievable. Not only that they showed very little remorse for what they did but they actually expect to be given some awards for doing an excellent job. That they killed, rape and torture hundreds of thousands of their fellow humans is the least of their concerns. The saddest thing is that to this day their supporters consider these guys to be heroes and will not hesitate to do the same thing again if given the chance.

So, why do you think we let the Japanese off-the-hook & did not hold their equivalent horrendous crimes as we did the Germans?

Don't you remember Hiroshima n Nagasaki ? It had to take the second bomb for the proud Hirohito to give in , imagine had germeny hitler with the atomic . Or any other foe. If you think about it we're
all walking miracles. Especially the jewish people always hated around the world for no reason.

These diabetic defendants had commtted crimes of such macabre nature, and on a scope and scale that have never been seen before in humans history. Even Satan would have bowed his head in shame to be accused of crimes of such ghastly nature. These savage beasts were only in humans form, but totally devoid of humans essence and substance.
