Oh my god Slovenians are real fighters ,a true small nation of cycling superpowers, congratulations Matej.... I'm sorry for Roglič, you can see that he is in pain :(.....
They've been a major proportion of the top rock climbers for some years as well. A Ukrainian friend, although he grew up in Soviet Union used to say: Slovenia was the source of the Slavic peoples, and the beginning of the Alps. Roglic's body spends energy healing from the road rash - the skin is important for survival, so evolution has favored its healing because it protects against the immensity of bacteria, fungi, etc. that love to eat meat. Pogacar is right there. But you have to love Van der Poel's spirit. Cyclocross, with all its mud and the blood and the slippery slime , develops determined ferocity. And his family, since Poulidor, Second in TdF 3 x, Third 5x, and a Vuelta (and Vueltas and Giros are harder for foreigners to win - in the past, as nationals tend in Spain and Italy to prefer their compatriots, helping as much as possible across team boundaries, though that is prohibited by rules when too overt). So Van der Pol isn't going to get to the top of Ventoux twice ahead of true climbing bodies, but is iconic as an athlete. It appears that Cav may be scheming to stay in the Tour for the Green Jersey again at last. Remember how he used his head like a remora on Sagan?
He's do unlucky, he's my facourite rider, in Paris-Nice he crashes 2 Times in The last stage and lost yellow yersey, in TDF he's crashing in The 3 stage(I think)
What a great stage! That breakaway was the strongest I've ever seen. I can't believe the peleton allowed it to go. It was brilliant to see Mohoric take such a strong win. He's been around for quite a while.
Yeah, a bunch of badly cut up incomplete thoughts and phrases, added to a contradiction or two from reaching for too many wordy descriptions. Less would have been more. This was absolutely the most jumbled cycling vid I’ve seen in years.
Heartbroken for Roglič, two hard crashes were too much, especially the second was brutal for him to continue... And an amazing finish for Mohoric, what a ride! Respect! Mixed emotions tho... >_
Anyone who thinks Mathieu van der Poel is gonna crack as soon as the tour heads up hill hasn't been paying attention to this young man's career. I'd be surprised if he wins this year's tour, but getting that jersey off his back is not going to be easy.
I think Mathieu allready gave his everything in this first week and he will drop the yellow jersey today or tomorrow. He also will not finish this Tour de France. He needs time also to prepare himself for the Olympic games.
Now I do love me some Phil Ligget and Bob Roll. Bob Roll's writing from the 1980s is something that I will never forget as was his messing around with the European press back then, they went crazy when he said he was Zuni Indian, today there might be some snowflake conversation. He was being benignly offensive. He was hurting the European press more than he was hurting any feelings of any indigenous people in the united states. That Bob Roll got into mountain biking close to its origin here in the USA is also badass as was his support for his teammate Andy Hampstein in the 7-11 victory of the Giro. This was during a blizzard on a mountain stage. All this said, your show is pretty darned badazz too. I do love that the man in the yellow jersey got into the breakaway and almost killed himself to stay in yellow one more day. A high speed long road race, this is worth turning on the TV for.
Same dilemma here, but just that I have cable and no DTH...so no Eurosport. This channel and Lanterne rouge's channel on TH-cam provides some solace...
At some point, somebody from your channel must have gathered all the comments about putting a spoiler in the thumbnail and you said "yeah people really hate this, so let's just keep doing it", isn't it so?
could be a fatal mistake by the GC guys around Pogacar, G, Carapaz, Alaphilippe...to let the others go...however, it might prove to be the right strategy...should MVDP and van Aerts have exhausted themselves too much till now...we're guaranteed to see fireworks in the next stages. Roglic probably having issues after the crash, such a shame.
Who ever is doing editing is crushing it! Game is stepped up this year!
aye, could maybe do with a course profile at the start, to give us some info. other than that, its spot on
Yes, clearly better than last year! It’s great!
Agreed! Feel free to make it 20 minutes long and show some extended riding but.... Compared to last year... Superb
This is the complete opposite of the boring Europsport highlights. Chapeau!

Not so bad at basketball too.

8th TDF stage win for Slovenians. We were at 0 before 2017. What a time to be alive!!!😀
Perfect summary, thank you. Not comparable to last year at all, thank you lot!
Awesome editing on this one. Somethings different - very creative...

Love Tour de France from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

Oh brave new world that has such creatures in it
Well deserved!
The editing is amazing, i just think that they should show the distance during the footage
250km this is the longest in history usualy the max 200km..this is brutal with climbs too
The longest was in 1903
WITH 450km-490km
16 hours
The longest in 21 years
merci LTDF :)
It would be nice if you guys did not put a spoiler for the results of the day in the thumbnail...

He said himself he will soon drop out as he want to compete in the mountainbike olympics for the gold medal.
I agree, seen him pull away from pure climbers and sprints. But I do wonder how long he can keep that up during a tour. Here's hoping though 🤞🏼
I think Mathieu allready gave his everything in this first week and he will drop the yellow jersey today or tomorrow. He also will not finish this Tour de France. He needs time also to prepare himself for the Olympic games.
Bravo true de France, mountain climb to go hell,
the eternal rivals mathieu van der poel and wout van aert!

👏👌👍🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
Who y'all for? Team Wout or Team Mathieu?
Yes
Team both ;)
Quintana seems to be the usual "grey man" lacking sparkle so far.
Please stop posting the winner on the video thumbnail or description. We want the suspense of seeing who wins!
1 or 2 second edits? ADHD generation 😝 🤯 but better than nowt. 🦆👋
