I think about this particular skit a lot
the SCREAM I let out when the ended with “That’s the Way It Is”
Being from Montreal, I don't think I know any Quebecois who care about Drake
Ont sen calisss de Drake, Marie-mai all the way.
@@mathieu100 en plein ça ahah
I don’t see why this is such a “bad skit”... it’s SNL, do you think it’s supposed to be accurate? The inaccuracy is what made it funny. As a francophone I found this hilarious.
Ce n'était pas trop mal...Montréal big weird bagels lol...et maintenant je veux un bagel St Viateur!
Oui en plus nos bagels sont bien meilleurs que les leurs.

Nonsense
Yang has been comedy gold since he joined SNL. Keep it up!
Cringeworthy.
As some1 from montreal that was absolutly terrible. Their using France stereotypes. Also we don't give a shit about drake in montreal. This was 0% accurate about montreal. Even the traffic joke made no sense they coulda easily said something about our thousands of cones everywhere
Y'all comment like there are no French people who immigrated to Montreal
Bowen’s accent is actually really good
The dialogue at 1:30 is the most accurate thing I've ever heard. Idk why but every other conversation I've had in French sounded like this.
Petition to have this replace Weekend Update.
NO TYE WEEK-END UPDATES ARE THE BEST PARTS
Btw there is no more French car maker dealership in Quebec for decencies...
The CN tour is in Toronto... Drake is from Toronto. Their accent is pretty bad.
They went to their correspondent in Toronto. And it’s the CN Tower.
@@solitairedoll Why a correspondent in Toronto? And who the F*ck is Drake?
@@enzopalumbo2164 🙄🙄🙄
This made no sense. It sounded more like they were making fun of Paris rather then montreal.
Very bad job on this 1
Born and raised Montrealer....this was awful.
The funniest part of this? As a Canadian, we don’t even remake your American news because it’s already such a freaking stupid show!!
And by the way, it’s funny
this is the best snl sketch in the last five years and they took it off snl's channel :(
Love it!! More plz... tabernak!
Is it Montreal where they are kicking out non French speaking people.
They really dont know what they re talking about...
So the cast of that Bonjour Hi show are... French immigrants in Quebec?
SNL should definitely get accent coaches... or at least ones who aren't convinced that the Québécois and French sound alike when they speak French or English.
Supposé être drôle ? Très Mauvais
Ffs how about a real Montréal bagel at least?
Or smoked meat, or poutine
They wouldn't dare use an actual Montreal bagel since everyone knows they're superior to NY bagels by far...
I am from Montreal, and have lived here my whole life. I have never seen a bagel like that.
I guess it's safe to say that Drake is Canada's messiah.
Oh man there wasn't a Canadian on set to correct them?!
This was pretty cringy. No one drives Pugeots, no one smokes indoors, most French Canadians don't give a fook about Drake (Montreal v. Toronto rivalry), bagels don't look that bad, the accents are off... I don't know why Americans think French Canadians are just France French people in Canada, they've been living on this contient since 1534, so much like Americans, Mexicans etc. they developed their own culture and identity way different from their European ancestors. Wouldn't say I'm offended, but definatley eye-rolled.
But the Tabarnak part was funny.
Those were New York bagels! I protest! Merde.
Merde is never used in french canadian. Calisse is better
Ouf, very bad imitation of French Canadian accent. Sounds more like the French from France. But the tabernak was funny!
There's definitely some funny bits in here lol
I didn't know we had Peugeot in Canada...
Who's the asian guy? He's funny.
Hahaha clearly they had a writer who asked what a few expressions were. That's where the research ended. But I still giggled when he screamed "Ta Gueule!!!"
J'ai bien aimé et ils ont assuré ! Good job ! 😂
Please make this sketch permanent
Traffic was terrible near Jacques Cartier bridge last night..she was right 😁
From the moment i saw this skit....i always pronounce the city as 'Det-wah'
What day is Schartt$ Cavern on? I can't wait to see it.
Ok French Montrealer too and I Love SNL and did not see this one so thi sis teh first time i see it did hear some comention when it got out but must say its very funy Tabarnauqe love i love the part whne he say Brossard , Sorel lol yeah its very Drole :) You gota have a sens of Humour I love it
As a Montrealer, its pretty off but wtv who cares lol it was pretty funny and great to be featured tabarnak
What the hell? This is like if they did a sketch about Irish TV, and it's a bunch of guys in kilts, eating haggis, and quoting Bobbie Burns. What is the point?
C'est du n'importe quoi!!!
JF Desjardins LOL! Well done SNL
