- I recently did the Quest Stanos's Head to get the Guise of the Coercer. A item that lets bards and rogues turn into High Elf illusion. The quest involves doing most parts of the Rogue epic Ragebringer. Special thanks to Murrdur, Plum, & Cromondas in Midnight Rations (Mangler) for helping me.

I have this on my Bard and Rogue. Best illusion, partially because it's so much work.
My Rogue effectively had to do the epic 3 times to get it and 2 masks
I just told his friend I needed to talk to stanos and he appeared. Then I had a group of buds pull him to an empty room nearby with a bard or monk(I switched to an alt to assist. If you help with the rogue you will trash your reputation. Have your buddies kill him. Collect head, and give it to any of the dark elves in that hut at night and you get the mask. I don't think you can summon him though until you done your epic 1.0 at least once. After that, just have it on you and you can summon Stanos for tea & cookies pretty much much time you desire.

Renux just dropped 2x translated parchments, and stanos dropped 3 heads. Haha this event is wild.
I got mine on Mangler in Kunark era, with about 4 clerics and about 7 people. Trick is to pull him solo with a good faction puller to the zone line. Took me about 3 kills to get my head piece.
I play on p99, made a Bard literally for the hopes one day to get this item… high elves are my favorite race and to me it makes sense that they should be allowed to be bards :) gonna be awhile for this to ever happen but hey, we all have dreams 🤓
I've seen bards who had this on P99. Fortunately the rogue epic isn't too hard to do.

Yup Aradune is good or Project 1999 green. They're the youngest servers. This game is best when the low level population is big enough to make groups easy. You'll want to quit if you join older servers where everyone is max level.
