Just got an ukulele. I will start to play along with you. Btw you have such an angelic voice, I really like listening to your covers. Bunch of love from Turkiye.
Gosh, I wish I could do THAT. Your rendition was so beautiful, and that's saying a lot next to Adele, and on a small 4-string instrument. One thing I have trouble with is having the volumes or strengths of sound of my singing level and ukulele playing level don't seem to meet. You do such a good job. Thx!
Aw that is so sweet, thank you!! I wonder if you're talking about singing more comfortably in the low register verses in the high register? If so I'd say just keep using your voice! We use our low register most because that's our speaking voices, but the high register doesn't get used as much so it doesn't feel as comfortable! If you use it more it starts to strengthen. Hope that helps!
@@helloabbylyons Thank you. I don't know what you mean by register. Like octave or...? I have 6 ukulele's, 3 low G, 3 high G, 2 are electric, 2 are tenor, 4 are concert. Maybe it's just consistency of volume between my voice and playing but I swear I am singing in pitch and playing songs in the right key too. I don't know, but you personally don't really even need a ukulele at all honestly. You could fly acapella any day of the week. Lucky girl. Don't waste it. Make sure you have a nice recording of your beautiful young voice safe so you can show your adult grand-children someday how cool you were when you were their age.! I have considered just recording different tracks on like garage-band and layering them and modifying their volumes in relation to each other separately etc, but it would be so much more gratifying after these past 2 years of hard work and practicing every day to be able to just confidently 'play a song' without feeling like i need to apologize and giggle. I've been singing my whole life. For some reason once I dove into learning the ukulele while in a year long quarantine living alone, it's like I forgot how to sing or something! Maybe it's sort of just in my head or whatever, but it just does not sound right, like everybody else's cover videos do.
I'm from Brazil, and what a spectacular voice, it soothes all our spirits! Congratulations on the wonderful gift 🙏🏻
