Nicely said. I take the issue is the stock shocks not being oil filled and that only two take care of whole back ends suspension. It would be interesting to see how chancing to oil filled would effect it and also after that run with second variation of the shock system for 6 shocks (parts included other than two control arms and shocks) I'm guessing stock system is for rock crawling and second one is for high speed runs.
Mine had the same issue of it running super fast and within 2 minutes it suddenly slowed right down. I found that the front differential has been stripped and this is meant to be a major problem with the fy06. I have since found a hardened steel differential gear set for the front differential and am awaiting its delivery at present. This thing does well over 60km/h on bitumen but my guess it has too much traction and thats what strips the gears. Either way its an awesome vehicle and very capable. Im upgrading my motor, esc, shocks and receiver also while doing the front differential.

To ride in sand is the best for the wheels to spin freely and less probably to brake, but the bell Brushless motor on it doesn't like to much sand, upgrade to a closed one.
I have been running mine on 2s. Now i have finished the install of a 2845 brushless 3100kv waterproof motor and a 45amp esc to suit. Im looking for a 3s lipo now for it. It also has a new flysky gt3b control and receiver installed. I have fixed the front differential and also found that one of the keeper screws for the front drive shaft was missing which must have vanished when the front differential decided to pack it in. Im also looking at some slightly bigger wheels for it. Its a Beast!

Very good video but I have 3 questions about the wltoys 10428-B and this 6wd truck: 1.which one is faster? 2.which one is better on sand and gravel? 3.which one is better when it is STOCK?
Thanks for the compliment The two cars are from diffrent styles, my personal choise is the wltoys, you can do a lot more with it. 1- the faster is the 6x6 by a lot faster, more than double. 25km/h wltoys and 60/65km/h the 6x6 on 3s 2- they are both great, but I prefer the wltoys. HEHE 3- again both are great I prefer the wltoys, althou the 6x6 comes with way better components, all metar gears, brushless motor, 45A esc..... My preference for the wltoys is because is capability of crawling and also to be a faster. you can have a lot both worlds. The 6x6 is a beast for bashing and speed.

Yes Franky, full stock, this thing comes with all metal gears, oil suspension, 45A esc temperature control system and brushless. With a 3s and kids control unlock this thing becomes......a Thing....crazy thing by the way. HEHEHE thanks for comment man.

I own a wltoys 10428 B and it tops like 15 mph (25-26 kmh) with ease
