Summer Toney same. But I do have an idea! What if, instead of measuring it to be the same size of the stove, you made it half the size, lengthwise? You could have whatever it is cooking in a pot on the back burners, and then you could use the front area as your makeshift tray.
MAYBE I would do this if I had the time, money, resources, skills, and actually had the ability to drill things in the walls (or cabinets) of my apartment. Oh, and if I wasn’t lazy enough.
Koryn Dahl well I mean I have basic carpenter skills, I know how to drill and stuff like that, but my main statement was that apartment renters and college students, etc. aren’t able to do these things because of rules.
Maybe put all of the ingredients you'll be using to cook on the stove cover and then put it on the counter or the dining table? maybe a flat-headed stool could work too if you balance it right.
totally agree. this would be so useful since I have almost no counter space but my apartment is tiny and I'd have nowhere to put it when I need the stove.
I wanna watch a movie or a show where a main character is a diy person and their whole house has all these diy stuff haaha and everytime you see it you are surprised like oh what a nice picture haha its also my desk!
If you live in a small house with not a lot of room, where are you going to do these projects? Most people who have a small home usually live in apartments, so they probably don’t even have garages or backyards.
Most spice racks depend on the containers being the same size. It looks as if contents are transferred to accommodate the spice rack. I don't like doing this for various reasons, the biggest of which is left over contents need storage elsewhere. For me, this is no advantage in a small kitchen.
I really enjoy watching these videos...but I also watch them to get ideas, so with that being said I’m going to need Nifty to show me some projects that I can order on Amazon or buy at the store without having to use power tools and measuring tape🤪🤪🤪.
I like the idea of the stove top cover but I find that I usually need extra space *while* I’m using the stove.

Heismyrock3 thats a very good idea
Tom S. Tea true
Summer Toney Just pre-cut all the ingredients. If the recipe is very complex it probably isn't a good idea to make in a small space anyways.
put a wood plank over the sink as an extra cuting space ;)
It’s a miracle!!! They didn’t reuse a old video for this!
The first one is redone
Oh.... my bad.😶
Just wait till they reuse this video later 😂
Fold-down spice rack. Genius. And cute. I think it could also DIY with some shipping wine boxes, etc.
id be the type to have the stove cover on it while the burners on and burn my house down
I've actually done that before. Well, I threw mugs of water on it before it burned the house down but...
I came here to say this
This is one of the best Nifty videos I've seen. Cool 👍
Didn’t see that spice rack coming but I was pleasantly surprised!
Uhhh yeahhhhh!! Here for that friggin go-go-gadget table!!!
they actually had some really good ideas in this one. will definitely be trying the Murphy Table/Picture
"I live in a small space but I have tons of power tools and clamps and places to let all this stuff dry"
argyletyrannosaurs Some areas have rentable workspaces that supply you with power tools and the space to do your projects
argyletyrannosaurs they have the nifty studio where they make this stuff
argyletyrannosaurs so true
panic! At the ladydoor let's all go to the Nifty studio and borrow their stuff.
Lima Funla Im down
Love, love, LOVE most of these! Stealing 2 for sure to put in my shuttle bus i am converting to an RV for full time living! Thanks!
Personally I think it would look really cute if they painted the wood after putting in the screws so the screws are the same color as the wood.
Hey everyone Fox Idk I kinda like the contrast tho
Love that first one, want to make that. Rest require securing to a wall which I can’t do, can you show more renters small living tips, please?
MAYBE I would do this if I had the time, money, resources, skills, and actually had the ability to drill things in the walls (or cabinets) of my apartment. Oh, and if I wasn’t lazy enough.
Koryn Dahl well I mean I have basic carpenter skills, I know how to drill and stuff like that, but my main statement was that apartment renters and college students, etc. aren’t able to do these things because of rules.
Damn I love them all and wish I’d have them all in my house !
Does anyone else like watching these but know they will probably never do it or never be allowed to do it?
Gaga Slime yup that's me😂
Same
Yeah it's me😆😆
Gaga Slime yeah right here
same
If i have a small space, where am i souposed to put the stove top cover while i'm using the stove?
Roxy if I'm making this it means I don't have enough table space, so I can't put it on the table.
On your Murphy table of course 😉
If u have enough space, next to your fridge, if not, under your bed maybe
Maybe put all of the ingredients you'll be using to cook on the stove cover and then put it on the counter or the dining table? maybe a flat-headed stool could work too if you balance it right.
totally agree. this would be so useful since I have almost no counter space but my apartment is tiny and I'd have nowhere to put it when I need the stove.
These went from that’s stupid to ‘okay girl let me enhance my way of living with some wood glue’ 😂 lol

Excellent ideas
This actually is very good o: maybe my favorite from Nifty!
The second one though. Isn't that going to slide over?
L Hilden No because it is locked.
+hwalism Ok.
L Hilden no it has a latch
Show what it is before showing how to make it
Cool video, but y'all need to countersink those screws. It's driving me nuts how much they stick out.
Murphy table. I want to try that
How are you keeping the picture table at the right angle? Why isn’t the picture frame slipping? That’s not stable...
I love this so much I always struggle with space and these are going to be really useful THANK YOU NIFTY❤️😍😅😜😊😋
The second one though. Isn't that going to slide over?
I didn't mean to comment that.😅😅

Some Loser there are rentable workshops. I live in a tiny apartment and I do them on the balcony
On the last one is that a MN sign I see? oOf
what if you accidentally turn on the stove while the cover is on...?
Most spice racks depend on the containers being the same size. It looks as if contents are transferred to accommodate the spice rack. I don't like doing this for various reasons, the biggest of which is left over contents need storage elsewhere. For me, this is no advantage in a small kitchen.
Guys, whats the name of the song?
Does anyone else watch these for no apparent reason
The projects remind me of Tiny House Nation.
Why don’t they show the final product before the diy process?
The second girl must have no space at all if that painting table is the dining room, desk and vanity
Maybe she’s living in New York , Tokyo, Hong Kong, or some other reeeeeally packed city. Apartments can get VERY small there.
22nd comment ps love ur channel🤗❤
Yess the title rhymes
nice
Me at the first clip: R we learning the alphabet now?
Wowwwww
Love this channel but the music is too intense, would prefer gentle music
the laundry idea is not good. not big enough, plus wet clothes on wood?
Do tou know that you are uploading the same video again and again. Did not expect that... from nifty atleast....😰😰
Tip: don't turn on stove while cover is on top.
Meanwhile I can't even hammer a nail correctly
