First of your videos and your final product turned out fantastic. I liked the way you went from and old file to a beautiful knife with kydex scabbard. Over the top process. And was curious as to how to get that kydex to mold perfectly around the blade. 👍👍👍

Very nice work. Really like the way this blade came out. The only thing that would have made a great every day carry blade for me would have been to give out a half serrated edge. Otherwise this is an excellent blade. Enjoyed watching this 👍

Was that black silicon RTV that you used for the hamon? I love the tanto profile. I can't get enough of the demonstration of making a kydex scabbard. Shouldn't there be a drain hole near the bottom? And finally, I would love to see you use bakelite as a grip material. In part if not in whole. Thank you so much, FZ. BTW, you had me wondering until the end if you were going to do something to accentuate the hamon. Thumbs up and already subscribed.

before hardening, the flattening is thicker, after hardening, fine metalwork ...

A file is a good métal To cut. But it is not a good métal for a knife because the steel is very breakable. Too weak.
