@@lukeknowles5700Recorded multi track same as in the studio. That way they can mute the mic tracks when not in use and eliminate almost every bit of noise.

I like all the new stuff that Foxes and Fossils are doing, but there's something especially joyous about the early work that I just keep coming back to.
For those of us following back then, this was the last song we thought we'd ever hear from Maggie. And lo and behold, 5 years later there she was with the other 2 ladies announcing the return of F&F. ( her idea, and recorded at her workplace in Nashville.)
R.I.P. Scott (Bass Player) These folks are THE BEST COVER BAND EVER!! THAT'S from a "Life-long Musician (Guitar & Voice) & self-professed Audiophile who GREW UP in Motown (Detroit) in the 60's when these songs were NEW! WOW. I was IN Detroit as a young boy when "Diana Ross & the "Supah Supremes" had this hit NEW on radio. Like this just as much! ❤❤🩹💔💯🥰😍🤩
I also grew up in the Detroit area and used to be one of the few white faces at the annual Motown Review. I love Motown and wish F&F would sing another one.

Honestly - I hav never seen anyone ever try to cover this. And then THIS! Somehow, for so many reasons, because only we could do this - Happy Birthday America! No good people, ever said that even in our differneces were we less than cousins.

I never really analyzed the song. Just listened to its sweet goodness. Though I have to say, I am partial to having Maggie as the lead vocalist. Most of the time. Not that she's better than Sammie. Its just a matter of opinion. Chase is good, but in my opinion, meh.

The harmony here is vastly better than on the Supremes' studio track.
Here: crisp and sharp, there: muted and lacking.
I cannot get over the excellence here. Its as if we are watching a single mix of every super group do every song you ever wanted to hear again performed in one place. The musicianship is outstanding, but the vocals, the harmonies ....I can't find enough superlatives to describe how good they are. And all together, its sheer perfection and joy.

The Harmony Vox is a little loud but that could be caused by poor Foldback On Stage.
I think this group has one of the best mixes I've ever heard.
I’m not sure what I’m hearing, but the blonde girls voice was coming out a little, harsh.. I can’t explain it, I think it was the auto tech. They are very good but not with that mix

What you're hearing is bad quality on the recording end.
It was a live outdoor performance probably recorded on a cheap camera setup. You have to look.... well... I guess hear past that and grab the essence of it.
Maggie and Sami meld so beautifully. Wow. Its like hearing flowers glow.

She's got 'gears'........just when you think she's at the top of her range, she comes up with another 'gear' and nails the notes. Very impressive singer. Check out the new Beach Boy tune she does (released in Aug).

The Mustangs show that immediately followed must have been quite an attraction, too. Sort by date; it's the next two after this one, "Roll With It" and "Walking in Memphis". Swap in Amy Wallace for the two Foxes, add Scott McDavid on keys, and F&F became The Mustangs. Fun fact: Amy was Fox #3 Chase Truran's music teacher.

I think they will both look back on these years and have great memories of what they did in the world of music. The band is just so together, the musicians, singers, and Tim the magician who keeps it all together. I hope that someday before my life is over that I can see them in-person. I'm 74 so time is not on my side.
Memories for a few fans too. We waited 5 long years to hear Maggie sing again, didn't know if we ever would, until there they were in that little video asking what they should cover next.

After a serious auto accident last February, I listened to this song and I Can't Let Go as part of a mix every day as I learned to walk again at 68. Hours and hours on a stationary bike in physical therapy for 12 weeks, every day. Thanks kids for helping me get through a trying time in my life.

I just found these guys last night. They are amazing. They cross over different artists and genre's from the 50's to the 2000's, and are great at all of them. These 2 girls sound about as good as the 3 original Supremes. just incredible.
