R.I.P. Scott (Bass Player) These folks are THE BEST COVER BAND EVER!! THAT'S from a "Life-long Musician (Guitar & Voice) & self-professed Audiophile who GREW UP in Motown (Detroit) in the 60's when these songs were NEW! WOW. I never really analyzed the song. Just listened to its sweet goodness. Though I have to say, I am partial to having Maggie as the lead vocalist. Most of the time. Not that she's better than Sammie. Its just a matter of opinion. Chase is good, but in my opinion, meh.
What’s one of the happiest moments of my life. Lying down on the beach all comfortable and happy with my eyes closed and then I hear this song over someone’s radio radio. You can’t hurry love by The Supremes.
its NFL 2020 Draft night, I looked at these Guys sing ; WE gotta Get You a Woman ;Todd Rungren. one song video led to another. ABSOLUTEY , Mind Blown !!
Maggie's lead singing has it's own special feel, and she puts it out there effortlessly......and of course Sammie is right there on B/U vocals, not one member missing a beat or note........nice, nice job
I cannot get over the excellence here. Its as if we are watching a single mix of every super group do every song you ever wanted to hear again performed in one place. The musicianship is outstanding, but the vocals, the harmonies ....I can't find enough superlatives to describe how good they are. And all together, its sheer perfection and joy.

I’m not sure what I’m hearing, but the blonde girls voice was coming out a little, harsh.. I can’t explain it, I think it was the auto tech. They are very good but not with that mix
@ronmarvicsin7709 What you're hearing is bad quality on the recording end. It was a live outdoor performance probably recorded on a cheap camera setup. You have to look.... well... I guess hear past that and grab the essence of it.
Honestly - I hav never seen anyone ever try to cover this. And then THIS! Somehow, for so many reasons, because only we could do this - Happy Birthday America! No good people, ever said that even in our differneces were we less than cousins.
Every time I come across this one, i am reminded of just how incredible this rendition - of a classic song - really was...outdoors performance and all! The whole performance...instrumentals & vocals - were simply wonderful! Lucky was the audience that was there to hear this - live.
The Mustangs show that immediately followed must have been quite an attraction, too. Sort by date; it's the next two after this one, "Roll With It" and "Walking in Memphis". Swap in Amy Wallace for the two Foxes, add Scott McDavid on keys, and F&F became The Mustangs. Fun fact: Amy was Fox #3 Chase Truran's music teacher.
Sammies background singing is magic because their voices meld together so well. And Maggie is an absolute star, I just love her. You guys are the best.
"Stumbled" across F&F about 3 nights ago. Stumbled and fell into a pot of gold. I've never been so impressed. Thank you F&F for making my life much more enjoyable.

She's got 'gears'........just when you think she's at the top of her range, she comes up with another 'gear' and nails the notes. Very impressive singer. Check out the new Beach Boy tune she does (released in Aug).
@@brucehart1617 It's exciting to watch her when she starts to stretch out of her comfort zone. That's when you realize she really is a great talent that's just kind of a sleeper.
I truely would rather listen to their renditions than the originals because they are so fresh. Plus you are so like family oriented. It’s so refreshing to hear renditions that are accurately better than the originals. You guys deserve to go gold. But I would hate to not be able to hear you if you did!😍
Best cover band on youtube ever!!!
Who Thinks Maggie and Sammy Really Kicked this One Up??
I think this is my favorite! I always like the vocals, but dang this band is really tight. Drummer and bass are always super tight.

RIP Mary Wilson
Outstanding. Pure talent, nothing Flashy. Rock on :)
I have to say I like this version better than The Supremes version. These young ladies do it real justice: Maggie's fantastic soulful lead vocals and Sammie's great harmony. The musicians do a great backup without drowning the vocals like many bands do today. I give it a 10 plus. Thank you for sharing your talent Foxes and Fossils.
I agree - better than the original by the Supremes!
Words fail me...what a magnificent cover! I have pretty much come to appreciate F&F covers over the originals. Awesome talent on display.
