I’m in the same shoes as the last guy. I was raised baptist, but as I got older I had too many questions that had no answers. I just started reading the Quran to hopefully find the answers to my questions. May God guide me in my spiritual journey.

I highly recommend you to read Bible and note down two columns table, first column “why Jesus is God” then another column “why Jesus is not God”. Then do truth seeking based on source of red letter and your intellect then remove one by one. Then you will get answer.
Important: Pray to the Creator from heart like “God if you really one to deserve worship then show me sign, I want to follow your path”.

As salam alaikum brother! I wish I could get one of your prayer mats you get from Mecca. I am an Alaskan Native and I live in the rural areas. Our town is mostly christians and we have no Masjid here and someday I hope to pray in one Insha Allah. I'm from a village of about 550 people and there are only about 10 of us that have reverted to Islam. I did my shahada about 5 year ago. I hope to be the guidance to light for those in the dark just like you my brother.

I grew up in a Christian family. I have thought of becoming muslim and would like to get a quran to read and study and connect with Muslims i can learn from. If any muslim brothers can tell me how to do that, i would greatly appreciate it.
I recommend The Clear Quran by Mustafa Khattab. It comes pretty cheap in various stores online. If you can't do that, then you can look up your nearest mosque, pay them a visit, and ask them for an english translation.

John 20:17: “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God." There fore, only one God who is not Jesus, and this God has no literal son, both are basic essential islamic creed.
Matthew 4:10: "You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve." The Only one worthy of Worship is God, this is Half the Islamic article of faith.

If Jesus is God, then why did He not know the time of His return? This is in keeping with Islamic monothiestic Creed of affirming to God all His beautiful attributes: The All Knowing (AlAaleem), The All Loving (Alwadood), The All.....

everytime i see someone in the church claimed to be visited by holy spirit, i say... it was the unholy spirit... how can holy spirit make you shake, dance like drunk crazy person... some even rolling on the floor like a snake or fish out of the water, some even screaming like demon posess, some even have halucination and rush out the church to eat grass outside.... you can find all this on youtube... some youtuber make a video compilation of church fails up to 3 part. they even make joke like " when god has his way on human" commenting on a video show everyone in church dancing like crazy while music goes wild... some of them even dance like in "surfing bird" MV....
if god has his way on human heart, look at the way muslim pray. that is when god has his way on your heart. as soon as we say Allahhuakhbar.... the pride, the proud on our face is gone. everyone reciting the holy scripture, the quran. every movement is full of praised to God.

Brother I need help in seeking Islam I am a long life Christian that doesn’t understand the trinity how can you say that Islam is the true religion?
If true creed is too hard& complex for even the experts to grasp then do you think the All merciful God will judge the eternal fate of everyone to hell as no one realy understood this Trinity which needed centuries for development& surrounded by contraversies, heretics burning & bannishing the faithful out of the church congregation?
Normal people can accept the simple monotheism which islam stands for, as hardly anyone underdstand the dogma mystry of the christian trinity, developed by humans with no devine mercy nor wisdom, making it an impossible concept for the average person to get to paradise/ avoid eternal loss!

islam seems legit......but not really for unintelligent people.....I cant seem to wrap my head around learning to read arabic or memorizing all the different prayers and rituals.......I have a difficult enough time trying to memorize song lyrics........maybe Allah The Most Merciful could have made me smarter.

You may think it is hard to learn Quran but thats just Shaidan putting such thought into your head,Try it and by the will of Allah you will soon see how easy it is.
Another thing is,the more you struggle to get it right the more reward you get from Allah as said in an Authentic Hadith "The one who falters is the one who stumbles in his recitation because of his poor memorisation. He will have a double reward: the reward for reciting and the reward for faltering in his recitation and the difficulty he encounters."
Out of the 6236 Verses In the Quran,memorising at least these 4 Surahs Fatiha(7)Nas(6) Falaq(5),ikhlas(4) will be enough for you to start your pray with.
