Hi no battery compartment? When the battery spoilt is unable to replace? And any battery indicator like fully charge? Thanks anyone can advise
Unfortunately, haven't found any battery compartment that i can see, and also there is no battery indicator either like 4 LEDs on the front or so, which is kinda strange!
If you plug in the phone to charge the battery (fan is off), is there any charging indicator? does it light up?

Hi! Do u know if there is any indicators on the fan if it is charging or low battery?
Hey! Unfortunately, i haven't found any indicator for either if the battery is charging or the charge level! although it would have been so easy to place 4 tiny LEDs in the front of the metal stand, but for some mysterious reason they didn't!

Hey taki, I do have the Mi Smart Fan 2S indeed, and i'm using it for the bedroom. I haven't really measured the noise in db accurately, yet it's barely audible up to 50% of the speed and very very quiet if not the quietest even up to 75 ~ 80%. I guess it's quieter than my laptop's fan when under load :D ! The design of it's 7 blades in addition to the brushless motor are a huge factor in such a very quiet sound of it.
Does anyone know how to remove the front Grid thingy? Some stuff inside needs tightening and I don't know how to remove it to get access to the loose parts.
Remove the screw at the bottom and rotate it counterclockwise
@@otidhpote0 managed to figure that out but sadly I could not tighten the stuff properly, even though I tried many times , so it makes a lot of noise when something is hitting something. Luckily the summer is over and I don't need it, have started to save up so I can buy a new and better one next year. But I was really pleased with it, since it was so silent and easy to use. It was also easy to put together the first time, a few years ago(no wonder I had forgotten how I did it lol)
Can't remember I was swearing at it like with my first fan, that was a nightmare to put together and it made so much noise.

Sure thing, there is a single screw at the bottom of the plastic circle of the fan, unscrew it and rotate the front plastic cover either to left or right and it will be removed super easy and then the fan blade and the back plastic cover. It's super easy no worries.

Hello Nicola, although it was just an unboxing and an assembly but sorry for not including the process of adding it to the network and Mi App. From the Mi App, just choose add a new device, choose your device from the list of the available devices on the app or write the exact model on the search, then follow the steps as shown on the app. also make sure you have both your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled during the process. Good luck!
Done.The default option for fans Is the model 2.In the app I search model fan 2s and I paired It easily.Thank you.

Glad that you paired it easily and congrats for the new Smart Fan :) one of the best advantages i encountered is when there is a power outage while i'm asleep and the fan is still running as if nothing happened :D ! It's also way energy efficient than all regular fans!

I bought one. The fan is a Frank toy. Very low power and therefore weak airflow, compared to a normal 60W floor fan. If you want normal cooling in the summer, do not be fooled by this toy.
It's a matter of opinion and i think it's an efficient fan for bedrooms and small offices where you want a cool air breeze without much noise and it's fully smart, i programmed it to when i want it to turn on and off on it's own and i choose the precise speed i want in % 40% 50% etc .. it has a brush-less motor which is so energy efficient with better life span, it has a built-in battery that keeps it running for up to 20 hours. in addition to the smart and elegant design, i would highly recommend it for the kind of people who are interested in all such a features.
Well if you want a fan that has noise of a tornado then yes do not buy this fan... This fan is perfect for bedroom and you want that cool quiet breeze of air.

Do not purchase this fan it's speed is too slow even on last setting ...it's basically a toy .also they don't have any return policy which makes it even worst 6k wasted ....
Whoever is buying this fan is not getting it for the fastest RPM anyway, it's a smart fan, so you can set it to turn on and off automatically at your preferred times. It has a reasonable air flow for such a compact size, it has a brushless motor that is super energy efficient and maintenance-free and it has a built-in battery that keeps it running for up to 6 hours! so if electricity went off, you won't even notice it while you are asleep and it's super quiet as well. It's an excellent fan but it's not for everyone and every use case indeed.
