Asia A yeah I just wish there was more information out there for if you have thin curly hair. I have it and it's very difficult to have and volume or make it do what I want it to do
Big thank you to Maya for including black and white girls' hair in this video! It's really important to let people know that white girl hair isn't always frizz free, I've had a lot of gross looking curls on my head in my time ;)
Does this happen to anyone else? When I leave my hair curly my mom and other older women say to me when am I going to "do my hair" as in when am I going to "straighten" it. I think curly hair if styled and taken care of is beautiful just as much as straight hair.
+Denise Vasquez That sucks ! I'm Dominican too and my mom lets me go to the salon to have it blow dried, but she also wants me to leave it out curly swell. I can totally understand what you're getting at, the "not done" thing. I see that so often.
+Denise Vasquez OMG! I have the same problem. I'm also Dominican an my mom has naturally straight hair but I have hair like Maya's. My mom doesn't care how my hair looks (wether its curly or straight) but when I go to my grandma's house she always asks when am I going to "do" my hair.
hey girl im Haitian and i always leave my hair in its curl state I always get compliments on how nice my hair looks but my father every time he sees me walking out the door he always saying how i never di my hair and always walking out with a head full of messy hair we argue about that so much its not even funny.
I know what you mean. This used to happen a lot with my family and I. I think you should sit down and tell your dad that this is how you like your hair, its the way it grows out your head and you love it. Also it will take time for him to get used to it since in our cultures ppl usually wear their hair straightened. So that is my advice :)
I ADOREEEE you for using kinky hair. i hate it when people talk about kinky and curly hair (or they'll say "african american hair"), but they'll only show women with 3B and 3C hair. wtf
+She Loves i know that, but that is usually the ONLY type of black hair that companies use to prove that a product works for all hair types. it's annoying.
Exactly. You're acting like any type of curl definition means you're mixed. People with 4a hair have a little curl definition, and there are plenty of black girls with 3c hair as well.
All of the girls in this video have BEAUTIFUL curly hair, like spirally curly, and ahhh. Then there's me with my easily-frizzable-dry-dull-curly-hair :(
For the longest time, I hated my curly hair. Being half black/Japanese, there wasn't any representation of curly hair in school, online, etc. So, I straightened my hair everyday; I cut off my hair it was terrible. However, recently I've seen sooooo many beautiful girls/women with curly hair and I finally felt like I could accept my hair and I LOVE it. Moral of the story is for those girls who get discouraged with their curly hair, it takes time to accept them but once you do, Rock those curls! lol

I attend college at an HBCU (FAMU) and occasionally they'll give away natural hair-care product samples for free. I always get the nastiest looks (and the occasional snide comment) so I always ask my friend to come with me or to just grab some for me. But hey, my hair wants and needs what my hair wants and needs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love how this video covers a good range of curly hair. Even if your hair doesn't fall neatly into one of these categories it gives you a good basis of what to try for your hair.
+Caitlin Parry true, even though I'm mixed my moms sisters have curly hair, she's the only one with straight hair. When I was little I used to think that only black girls could have curly hair because my dads side has kinky curly hair.
naomi eboigbe I am a white girl, like totally white. My hair is curly, but for 5o years I combed, blew it dry and then hot curled it to tame the Cruz. I recently read the book curly girl and it transformed my life! I am an amateur at defining my curls and your video has helped me a lot. I wear my hair wet and in a microfiber turban at night but wake up with one flat side, the side I sleep on. Will resetting my hair in the am and defuse dry it help? Also, how can I get more volume at the roots while not compromising moisture as I also have drizzling hair. Is there such a thing as over moisturizing? Thanks for you help! Even older women like our curls. Ps.. I have longer then shoulder length. Slightly shorter than Jessica's!
My friends all have wavy or straight hair, and would shame me for defining the curls I have (twisting, twirling). They told me I was "faking" my curly hair, and that you shouldn't be able to do that. I'm an Indian from an asian country and I have 2c/3a type of hair. I actually love my hair but it's annoying as this type of hair is not accepted in a country with people mostly with type 1 hair. I also find type 3 and 4 hair beautiful. I don't understand why people hate it.
I know! Everyone has pin straight hair in my school.I am from north africa and i am arab.I have 3a 3b hair. But everyones like ewwww why your hair so rachet!!!!
You don't have to understand why they hate it! Just love what you have - despite what they say and do. Personally speaking I find straight her to be very boring. Tell them that curly hair has character.
People hate it, because for a long time, they've been brain washed into believing this is ugly and unacceptable. What people don't know about or understand have tendencies to oppose what is NOT OF THEIR upbringing, whether it starts from home, school or just word of mouth.
I used to hate my curls because I didn't know how to take care of it. All of my friends just had to brush theirs, so I used a brush on mine and it got extremely frizzy and I couldn't figure out why. My hair was short and had no layers, so it made a triangle shape which I hated. I kept in in a ponytail every single day in middle school, and I didn't bother brushing it in the morning. Pretty soon I never took it out, and it became really knotted and matted. My mom found out and tried to brush it out, but it was so knotted that she couldn't get the brush through it. So she took me to a hair cuttery and the lady chopped the whole thing off and then gave me a really short, boyish haircut. It actually looked really good and Ive had that haircut ever since :) BRUSH YOUR HAIR GIRLS!
Omg sameeee if you brush it when it's dry you get extreme frizz and I'd always be helium of my friends with straight hair and I still have the triangle shape hair and I used to straighten my hair which was great for the time it was straightened because it was so low maintenance but the damage it did took a toll on my hair and the ponytail thing also happened to me worst decision ever
Johanna Sweet OH MY GOD THAT SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME IN 6TH GRADE I HATED MY HAIR AND ONLY WORE IT IN A PONYTAIL... It got matted and a lady chopped it all off to a verrrrrryyy short style, my hair texture went from mostly 3b and some 3a to mostly 3c with some 3a and 4a... I want my old hair texture back since it was manageable
Johanna Sweet I have curly hair its a pain but its very beautiful and unique a lot of people are paying for curly hair out there my hair always frizzy but its how it is
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH! The idea of bringing different types of curls into one video and sharing all of their routines!!! Much love for the curly hair world :))))
Who in their right mind would trade long, curly hair for short, relaxed hair? I just went natural two months ago (big chopped) and can't wait for it to be long like that. Oh, well. To each her own.
I love the diversity of curls in the video :) I don't have curly hair, but I know a girl who has literally the most gorgeous hair because of her beautiful curls.
Thank God! Finally a curly girl tutorial for girls with really curly hair. They always have help for "curly" hair and the hair they are showing is just wavy.
I love it that they all rock their curly styles! These days there are soo many monotone straight hair styles (not that its bad every hair style is unique and beautiful!). Even girls with beautifully voluminous hair try to flatten it down to look like everybody else, leaving it damaged (me once upon a time). Rock your hair styles- be unique!!!!
the tips in this video are all legit! I used to have the frizziest curls and somewhere along the lines I picked up a few tips (rinse in cold water, comb with a wide toothed comb rather than brush, argan oil at the tips, deep condition with saran wrap, etc) all of this makes a huge difference
I'm Jamaican and the majority of us have kinky, curly hair. Sometimes I feel so ugly and annoyed with my hair type which is 4a/4b, because it is so different and not accepted by most people when it comes on terms with beauty. I try to accept my hair and embrace my type of curls, but it's just real hard.
I'm a fellow youtuber who is newly OBSESSED with your channel! I love how different and innovative you are with your videos (and a little naughty.... shower scene lol) I must have just watched 10 of your videos in a row... and now I'm watching this and I don't even have curly hair! haha xx Kaylee
Idk if this bugs anyone else but when I choose to leave my hair curly (and not bound forcefully into a braid or straightened) I hate it so much when people say "omg your hair is like a hot rat nest!" Like wtf?! Idk how many hot rat nests I have seen but I don't see that as a compliment.
I had a pet rat once and she used to make little nests in her cage and they were super cute! You should take the "hot rats nest" thing and turn it into a compliment, then they can't tease you about it anymore.
Thank you soooo much for this video, seriously i have been trying so hard to control my hair since i was a kid and then once i discovered GHD's.. goodbye curls for a good 10 years. I have finally found people who know the answer to caring for my hair as hearing it from someone with straight hair NEVER worked. I used an amalgamation of all your tips and my hair has gone from crazy lady to amazing!! the key thing i learnt was how gently to treat my hair, i used to just be rough with it because it was so course, dry and brittle. Now with all your techniques i can finally rock the hair i was born with!! so thankful xoxo
i love how this shows so many completely different hair textures!! this should be like the mandatory video for everyone who's about to go on their natural hair journey to watch.
All of these women are so gorgeous, inside and out. From their curls, to faces, to personalities, to overall loveliness. THank you, Maya, for sharing these tips and specimens of beauty with us.
Really helpful video! I really like how there are different curl types and there are curly girl friendly products. I've been looking for a video like this!!
***** Lol Dominicans can have any hair textures. Someone can have straight and another can have poofy and stuff. But the most common I've seen is curly. Dominicans can also have a wide ranging skin color, it's not only ONE thing, ya know ? Where are you from ?
+Julia F Yeah my whole family is Dominican and my mom has stick straight hair while I have 3c hair and my cousin has 4a hair. My grandma has 3a hair. So yeah you would know we are very diverse people but that's great!
This was a lifesaver for me. I have naturally curly, european textured hair. It's incredibly delicate and like the blonde woman (who has practically the same hair type as me!!), sleeping on it ruins it. I was never able to find a way to properly care for my hair, since all the tutorials I found were geared towards denser hair types. I really want to express my gratitude towards everything that went into this video, because my natural curls were constantly being flattened and damaged by years of brushing and using products made for straight hair, and that can be damaging to body image, especially mine. Thank you so much!
I watched this many years ago, and appreciate this video so much more now. I just watched a video from a 4c TH-camr who tried to copy a 3b/c TH-camr’s wash & go. It was pretty much click bait, but I appreciate this video because it shows a variety of textures. Everybody was doing their own thing
I'm so glad I found this video. I know this video is old and no one will probably see this comment but whatever. I'm 20 and have curly hair and have never properly learnt how to style my curls. I was raised by my mom who has poker straight hair amd because I got my curly hair from my father I didn't have anyone to teach me what to do with it. I'm slowly slowly learning and this video was super helpful!
I love how you have many videos about taking care of curly hair. I have looked for videos like these forever and no one else has them. Thank you, your videos are helpful.
Sahony Cifuentes This is a MUST WATCH! Me and bebe swear by these tips! Having curly hair is a struggle and a lot of work and maintenance, but it’s a must if you want your hair to be healthy and if you want it to always look nice! ^_^
I have very frizzy and curly hair, and have tried soooo many products. Nothing works better than coconut oil! That is all you need. leave coconut oil in and massage, Shampoo lightly, and rinse. Your hair will be frizz free and curly. You do not need to use chemicals!
Yup I do that too I also use it for lotion to shave with and as my face cream I actually have not had a breakout since using it just a little bit though or you look greasy
I love how you made this video for 4 different hair types , usually people make tutorials for people with hair like them and it doesn't match mine. But this .. Perfect !
SO HELPFUL!!! In love with this video, amazing production showing different curl patterns and exactly what each girl does, no room for guessing. Most people put all curly hair in one category but no curl is like the other! I have curls like Jessica so I loved watching what products she used, another amazing vid, maya!
Ms.Maya I tried this and it works!!! It kept my natural curl pattern which is something I could never figure out how to do! I love you so much for this! I am so thankful
I have nappy frizzy hair. The curls don't exactly look like curls, they look demented and twisted up and messed up. So, that's why I straighten if every day to make it look at least half decent. I've had many ppl say "Your hair is really messy, do you ever comb it?" -_- SO, I straighten it everyday and even though I use heat protector, every hair on my head is damaged and I have no idea what to do. I can't stop straightening my hair, I hate it when it's curly. It's just not my look. I'm going to have damaged hair forever…
What is nappy? Stop. Accept your beauty, your hair isn't 'nappy' it's natural and beautiful. Unless you want to end up bald regardless of heat protector, take care of your hair and learn to accept it. Put a little days worth in to it ;).
I have to straighten my hair because if I don't, it looks uncombed no matter how much I brush it. I moisturize it every day, it's just not working out for me. I'm stuck… Once a week? It goes curly by the end of one day, no matter how careful I am. I look insane when I'm really careful like "I'm not going outside because my hair is gonna get messed up." I sound so stupid. So yeah, I guess this is my destiny…
Sarah Matheson Guess what, if you continue to straighten your hair like that, it's going to be even more messed. Not everyone is meant to have straight hair-accept that. It WILL be your destiny if you continue to believe that and not try to make things better. Believe in your hair, I think you should let your hair grow out, for starters; don't straighten your hair for atleast 3 weeks. I think you should watch natural hair videos and educate yourself about your hair. Trust me, not straightening your hair is the best way to go. Let your hair grow it's natural texture, and even cut off some of the damaged hair. It'll even be a new hair cut. Believe in your hair and except your curls!!
Learn to love what you have -- you can't expect to go through life trying to live up to people's expectations. when you love yourself, despite what others may say, it's amazing how you are at peace with yourself. No one can look me in the face and tell me that my hair is ugly and I feel hurt and believe it. No Way! Personally speaking I think people can sense to a degree when you're dissatisfied with what you have and then they decide to work you over. I've heard people say that others told them this or that about their hair. No one has said a word, probably to question whether it's my hair or not. They have asked others, even my brother's girlfriend, they came and talked with me all day, and no one said a word, but guess what? she asked him if it's mine, and he said he didn't know that he'd check the next time he came by, so the next time he came by- he was able to give her an answer, I found out later that she had asked, but she's not the only one.
ranoka I never said I was trying to impress anyone else, I'm trying to impress myself. I don't care if people don't like my hair, only if I do. And I only like my hair when it is straightened, I'm not trying to impress anyone at all. Gosh, why do people think that?
This is great! Finally a video where we can see different types and needs! I have something like "Mediterranean hair". I've tried some of the products for African hair, and they just didn't work for me. They were way too oily and left my hair flat and heavy. I definitely don't define every curl with my fingers. I just cleanse it, condition it, towel dry it a bit, put mouse for curly hair and hair-dry it. Super important if you want to keep you curls shiny if you have my type of hair, use a mouse that doesn't contain alcohol in it, and hair-dry it with slow and cold air :)
OH MY GOD SO HELPFUL! My hair is also, obviously, curly and I keep it very long so its been really hard for me to give the perfect shape to my curls and make them stay like that during the day but I'm definitely going to try these! THANK YOU SO MUCH xxx
So happy to see a girl with curls like mine! (Blonde girl) it's so hard to find girls who have that type of curl naturally, and who know how to take care of it. I loved all the other girls and their styles too. Everyone was so cute! 💕
I'm mixed and I have really thick curly hair and I have a REALLY tender head. I have to brush my hair out because it makes it easier to get through it easier after a shower. Anything I can use IN the shower to help really detangle so I can use a comb and not go through too much pain? Brushes are bad for your hair, so I don't want to use it, but I have to. :(
try silicon mix deep conditioner, thats the only thing thats works for me, its really thick and has so much slip, pain free and fast detangling. good luck
I'm mixed, too, with tons of hair, so I feel your pain, sister! What I do is only detangle in the shower with tons of conditioner in, and use a TangleTeezer followed by a comb while it's soaking wet. I use the actual TangleTeezer brand because the other ones just aren't as nice to my hair, but they still detangle it. It ends up looking like it takes a ton of hair out, but it really doesn't, it's just taking out all of the naturally fallen hairs that detach during the week. I then set all of my hair on my shoulder (mine's long enough to sit on) and massage my scalp before rinsing the conditioner out, and when I rinse, I gather up sections of my hair and hold it so it doesn't pull so much on my scalp. This also makes it easier to squeeze a little to help the conditioner rinse out.
It's this brush-like thing with all these flexible teeth that gently detangles your hair. It sounds like you're tearing it to shreds, but it bends instead of breaking the hair, so it's far less damaging than traditional brushing or combing, even. I'd look up Tangleteezer reviews and comparisons on here, and they can show you better than I can explain what it is. :)
I used to hate my hair. And that's because my hair was damaged all the time. I used straighteners and all that junk so I cut off all my hair and I never knew my hair was curly but it is,right from the root.I love my curly hair and I now know how to take care of it.soft curly just beautiful
I am so happy with getting a visual how to on here. I've been raised to take care of hair that's not curly when I have always had curly hair. NOW I know how to properly take care of them =)
My hair is so stressful, it's curly and wavy at the same time and no matter what I do or how hard I try it still looks dry or the curls and so flat, I am using Shea moisture on my hair but I will wrap my hair in a t-shirt instead of a towel and when I'm ready to add product my hair is cringed and crippled and 70%dry, and then when I add my product it doesn't work as well I guess, and the only way I can make it better is if I use my sisters blow drier with a diffuser and I don't want to ask her everyday for her blow dryer, I'm kinda on my own when it comes to my hair because my sister, dad, and mom has straight hair, if anyone has any advice that would be great and my hair is in between Nicole's and Maya's but it's more loose I guess it's a lot similar to Maya's niece Brianna
I love how everyone in this video has different types of curly hair and textures! It makes it easy for all curly hair girls to relate to
Asia A yeah I just wish there was more information out there for if you have thin curly hair. I have it and it's very difficult to have and volume or make it do what I want it to do

Yup
This was perfect for me cause I'm black and white so the blonde girl and Maya is my hair type🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I love this. Curly hair comes in all shapes and ethnicity's.

Love how they made the video diverse in both color and hair type

They're probably just jealous and it's not "faking", trust me everyone does it, no one just wakes up and leaves their hair as it is
LOL such jealousy
Girl...... You should tell them they are faking when they use a flat iron or a hair wand.
Everything about this video gives me life.
I still come back to watch this, its that amazing!
Same..lol.

Saw this vid like 3 times

the new yorker girls voice sounds really young
I miss these videos. Hopefully, Maya could grow her hair back and update this series.
Phia F. Ask them why do they have such boring plain hair or just say I find your hair to be boring and that I am not.
People hate it, because for a long time, they've been brain washed into believing this is ugly and unacceptable. What people don't know about or understand have tendencies to oppose what is NOT OF THEIR upbringing, whether it starts from home, school or just word of mouth.
Murderous Ann thanks thats really sweet of you and yes they have some boring hair haha
It actually looked really good and Ive had that haircut ever since :)
BRUSH YOUR HAIR GIRLS!
+Lara xoxo omg I found my twin lol
Johanna Sweet OH MY GOD THAT SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME IN 6TH GRADE I HATED MY HAIR AND ONLY WORE IT IN A PONYTAIL... It got matted and a lady chopped it all off to a verrrrrryyy short style, my hair texture went from mostly 3b and some 3a to mostly 3c with some 3a and 4a... I want my old hair texture back since it was manageable
Ahh, yes, the hairbrush... I once had a girl tell me I had witch hair, no joke! :)
Johanna Sweet I have curly hair its a pain but its very beautiful and unique a lot of people are paying for curly hair out there my hair always frizzy but its how it is
YES THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY. WOMEN OF DIFFERENT COLORS EMBRACING THEY BEAUTY WHILE RECOGNIZING OTHER WOMENS BEAUTY. YESSSSS. GOALS ASF.
No matter how many years pass, I always comeback to this video
I think it's important to note there's a hair type between Tasha and Mya lol
Tamia Edrington that's what my hair is
Tamia Edrington ikr

Lol thank you I was like that's a jump she could've skipped the second white girl
Tamia Edrington my hair is Maya my colour hair I black and my colour skin I mixed a fair mixed person
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH! The idea of bringing different types of curls into one video and sharing all of their routines!!! Much love for the curly hair world :))))
+Allison Malaki Right i love this video too. & Hey i have a youtube channel for curly hair girls, maybe my channel can give you some tips :)
Who in their right mind would trade long, curly hair for short, relaxed hair? I just went natural two months ago (big chopped) and can't wait for it to be long like that. Oh, well. To each her own.
Cam Shipp same except I'm a year
there is something so pretty about Tasha
Her melanin
I'm Lydia yasssss
her smile :)
Her fro/curls (GOALS) smile, melanin ;)
I want a mf uhh boneless pizza lmao
This is literally the best curly hair video I have ever seen
I have one question...... who in the heck wears makeup in the shower?
Andrea Favor i have one answer...me!
+Shameless Maya i love you so much 😂x
Andrea Favor haaaaa get rekt
Andrea Favor its for the video
Andrea Favor they do

I love all the hair textures, but Tasha's is just SO BEAUTIFUL looord 😍😍😍
They have beautiful hair, meanwhile, I'm a lion 😂
Back for the nostalgia. I love this video 🥰
This was the video I was obsessed with at the beginning of my transition to natural hair
I believe this was my introduction to you.. so nice to see this video again
This blonde girl saved my life now i know how to dry my hair :) great video
You all have nice curly hair, and then there's mine that's a big frizzy mess that's wavy at the top and curly at the bottom sigh
omg same i just cant taim my hair!!
Evrything you need to do then is to shake you head like a rock star! It helps!
the tips in this video are all legit!
This seems like a fun curly girl slumber party 😂
I'm a fellow youtuber who is newly OBSESSED with your channel! I love how different and innovative you are with your videos (and a little naughty.... shower scene lol) I must have just watched 10 of your videos in a row... and now I'm watching this and I don't even have curly hair! haha
xx
Kaylee
she's really addictive!
this video was so ahead of its time
yeiiii someone that did a video showing different types of curly hair and most importantly how to stylish :D
I know what you mean. People can be very rude about curly hair and that's because they don't know what its like
Having curly hair is pain😩but it's my baby😏😍and I love it because it's what I'm born with and I take care of it like a baby 🙌😌
shameless Maya has the best voice. haha idk why but it's so nice to listen to
this will forever be my favourite curly hair tutorial!! just amazing.
This is the most awesome video I ever seen haha They all are beautiful !
This is like the fourth time I've watched this video and I don't even have curly hair
Lol i have 4c hair which is tight curls does that count
Curls is curls. I'm pretty sure the black girl in the video has 4c hair
Okay? I made a mistake. So are you going to correct me or...
Oh gosh, same! Their hair is just so fab and they're have such great personalities
Why was this so weirdly sexual
Emily Cee because 4 beautiful women were showering... That's a reason:)
Ummmm try the fact that they were all naked and showering together what about the unnecessary sexual shower scene? and they aren't beautiful.
Latrice Hart They all probably look better than you.
Emily Cee idek lol
It's not. Don't sexualized them.
i love how this shows so many completely different hair textures!! this should be like the mandatory video for everyone who's about to go on their natural hair journey to watch.
My hair would probably look like Jessica's if I took better care of it 😂
+Sofi Olivares Facts
***** Me ? No, I'm Dominican
Curly_Rose Yeah exactly ! :)
Tasha is so cute!
Everybody was doing their own thing
this video makes you love your curls
love it :)
I Love Tasha's hair😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
yesss
Thanks!!
I love how black hair grows up!!!
+elbowsonfleek what's so eww about our hair??? love your tight curly coils
+elbowsonfleek but the resultat is awesome
i speak french so sorry for my bad enlish...... toute belle chose resulte de travaille
Watched this video years 5 years ago watching this now, I still love it
This is just the classic curly hair video for me! Four years later and I'm still back here after browsing for curly hair tips! Love it, will always!
this is so helpful. all the other videos aren't specific enough. I hope this works for me cause my hair is dry as hell
The deva way (jessica) works for sistahs too!!...i do the same thing when Im using deva products...nice video!!
This was the best video ive watched about curly hair, i feel so understood!! lol
This video made me happy. I loved it. It was so different!
Sahony Cifuentes This is a MUST WATCH! Me and bebe swear by these tips! Having curly hair is a struggle and a lot of work and maintenance, but it’s a must if you want your hair to be healthy and if you want it to always look nice! ^_^
LoL *yes it is!* Some of these could actually work out :p
I have very frizzy and curly hair, and have tried soooo many products. Nothing works better than coconut oil! That is all you need. leave coconut oil in and massage, Shampoo lightly, and rinse. Your hair will be frizz free and curly. You do not need to use chemicals!
i will try this thanky ou
Yup I do that too I also use it for lotion to shave with and as my face cream I actually have not had a breakout since using it just a little bit though or you look greasy
I love how you made this video for 4 different hair types , usually people make tutorials for people with hair like them and it doesn't match mine. But this .. Perfect !
SO HELPFUL!!! In love with this video, amazing production showing different curl patterns and exactly what each girl does, no room for guessing. Most people put all curly hair in one category but no curl is like the other! I have curls like Jessica so I loved watching what products she used, another amazing vid, maya!
I have a mix between Shameless and Nicole's hair. So hard to deal with, but they are so pretty!
Ikr but still ive loved maya's hair long or short
Jayla R And my hair is like Jessica's at the top :/. And yeah.
Awesome mine is a little fuller than maya's
exactly the same hair type
Finally a video for my curls
Do you have a world of curls sitting on top of your head?
Yes...sadly yes I do :P
Nicole's hair is JUST LIKE MINE
I LOVE HOW YOU INCLUDED DIFFERENT CURL TYPES YOU ARE SO CUTE ILY
Ms.Maya I tried this and it works!!! It kept my natural curl pattern which is something I could never figure out how to do! I love you so much for this! I am so thankful
I just thought of how boys don't have to go through any of this. It's the hard knock life for girls
Amen sister 🙏🏻
not exactly :/
XxPretty247xX MSP Some boys have curly hair...
LOL i have curly *beatiful* hair and it takes so much work!!! I bet it takes more work than girls with wavy hair XDDDD
ps im a boy soooooo
I Saw That This Video Had 999k Views So I'm Watching It Again So You Can Get 1 Million 😂😍
No way this was 8 years ago
My fav conditioner just ran out lmao I'm in trouble 😂😂
I am praying for you lmao
my hair is a mix between maya and tasha lol
So happy to see a girl with curls like mine! (Blonde girl) it's so hard to find girls who have that type of curl naturally, and who know how to take care of it. I loved all the other girls and their styles too. Everyone was so cute! 💕
I'm mixed and I have really thick curly hair and I have a REALLY tender head. I have to brush my hair out because it makes it easier to get through it easier after a shower. Anything I can use IN the shower to help really detangle so I can use a comb and not go through too much pain? Brushes are bad for your hair, so I don't want to use it, but I have to. :(
try silicon mix deep conditioner, thats the only thing thats works for me, its really thick and has so much slip, pain free and fast detangling. good luck
Triny La Barbie okay thanks!
EmileeArsenic omg thanks!! But what is a tangle teaser? Lol 😆
It's hard to believe it has been a year since this video was uploaded… seems like yesterday. Wow...
***** .. and another year has passed. lol.. time flies.
Over 3 years and this video is still great!
4 years now 😂🤗
@@MysTaria87 Nearly 7.5 years now! And I come back to it every year to rewatch 😅
Tasha is absolutely beautiful ❤️
I used to hate my hair. And that's because my hair was damaged all the time. I used straighteners and all that junk so I cut off all my hair and I never knew my hair was curly but it is,right from the root.I love my curly hair and I now know how to take care of it.soft curly just beautiful
I am so happy with getting a visual how to on here. I've been raised to take care of hair that's not curly when I have always had curly hair. NOW I know how to properly take care of them =)
Can you do another one of these type of videos? I would love to be in one! :D
2020 I'm here😂
My hair is so stressful, it's curly and wavy at the same time and no matter what I do or how hard I try it still looks dry or the curls and so flat, I am using Shea moisture on my hair but I will wrap my hair in a t-shirt instead of a towel and when I'm ready to add product my hair is cringed and crippled and 70%dry, and then when I add my product it doesn't work as well I guess, and the only way I can make it better is if I use my sisters blow drier with a diffuser and I don't want to ask her everyday for her blow dryer, I'm kinda on my own when it comes to my hair because my sister, dad, and mom has straight hair, if anyone has any advice that would be great and my hair is in between Nicole's and Maya's but it's more loose I guess it's a lot similar to Maya's niece Brianna
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for showing the diversity of curly hair and ways to care for it. Fantastic editing and visuals as well.
so many different favorites!
Tasha!!!!!!
i totally have Jessica's hair
