    I thought your hair was already twisted out from the start of the video. I wouldn't touch it after that. It's perfect.

    I've been straightening my hair for seven years and I couldn't even imagine going out with my hair being naturally curly. However, I stumbled upon your videos about heat damage and how to make your hair healthier and I realised that my hair deserves to be taken care off. So I followed all your instructions, and now I can proudly say that I'm on a good path to recovering my hair and the best part is that everyone loves it! Big thanks to you Alba, you are amazing!

    I recently figured out the same way for me to get a good twist out. Whenever, I feel like showing some length I do it on freshly washed and dried hair or a two day old wash n go. I tried doing it on wet hair and it looked a hot mess! Lol
    Great video!

    So I tried this twist out on my dry hair as directed with a gel souffle by shea moisture n it turned out GREAT!! I have tried soooo many different styles, methods and products to lengthen my curls n prevent the major shrinkage that happens n this is the ONLY thing that has worked n they looked soo pretty after I took out the twists!! Im very happy with this results as is my fiance and I did it in both my daughters curly hair (they have different textures of curls from mine n each other) n it came out gorgeous as well. We have received so many compliments. Thanx so much for sharing this!!!

    You are absolutely stunning! And your hair is perfection. My 8 year old daughter is biracial and has beautiful soft curly hair. I'm gonna try this out with her. I usually put hers up in a ponytail with a bow. Now that she's older and has done the ponytail and bow thing basically her whole life lol I want to experiment with different styles for wearing hair down. I love how it elongated your curls and am hoping it will do the same to hers.

    Thank goodness you posted this! Ive been wearing my hair naturally curly for about a year now and chopped most of it off over the summer. I gave up on twist outs and braid outs because they would never work for me! They never had any real definition or any type of movement to them :( I tried this last night expecting the same result but it worked out so much better and i actually feel pretty again with my hair so short in this style! Thanks so much!

      Vanesa AMV Length definitely plays a role in the tightness of curls. I have 3a/3b curls as well. When my hair was about bra strap length, it was wavy near the roots, and curly down the rest of my length. Just recently, I cut my hair above my shoulder and now have more defined curls that people think I'm curling my own hair because it wasn't as curly when it was long. It's a sacrifice some girls have to make if they want length. Hope this helps

    • @Mrs.AlbaRamos
      @Mrs.AlbaRamos  10 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It sounds like heat damage so simply avoid heat and get a trim and with time you'll see your cues bounce back as long as you keep it healthy and away from any heat

    • @vanesaamv9992
      @vanesaamv9992 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Genesis Galva YAAAAS! same gurl, same:( but it's so hard to me, i dont want to cut it off hahaha:c it takes a long time to grow but i mean its hair it grows back:)

    • @genni322
      @genni322 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True! Plus if you have heat damage like Alba said, you'll have a better idea of your curl pattern if you cut it off. But if you don't, then it's more a matter of accepting and working with what you got. :] That's exactly what I was thinking when I chopped off my hair. In the end, you gotta make sure what you want is really what you want cause like you said, it takes a long time to grow

    I am so glad I found this tutorial. I've NEVER been able to keep a single twist to hold in my hair, but I never tried it dry. Definitely gonna try this 👌

    This is probably insignificant, but, how many twists did you do? Do you normally wear the twists out of the house?

    • @Mrs.AlbaRamos
      @Mrs.AlbaRamos  10 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I didn't count it but it is an unnecessary thing to know giving the fact others may have thicker/ thinner, more/less hair than me so it can't be compared. Yes I've worn the twist out and taken them out later

    I've been wearing a twist out in hair for about 2 days in my hair and it still looks as good as it did on the first day. This style lasts for at least 4 days

    Twist outs never work for my hair ever! If I were to manipulate my curl pattern I would have to do a braid out because my hair will always unravel from twists.

      Try doing the twist out and using small flexi rods around the twists so they hold through the night. It's the only way a twist out works for me.

      I use to had the same problem until I started doing the twist outs on 100% dry hair and I also use a think conditioner like wen. The think conditioner makes the ends stay together a lot , maybe that will work for you !!!

    I have natural hair like this but I'm going to chemically straighten it cause I hate my curls:(

    • @pchan1728
      @pchan1728 10 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Don't Do it! Curly hair is so versatile. You have straight or curly hair whenever you want. You're going to cause too much damage putting all those chemicals in your hair. This is coming from someone who straighten my hair all my life up until about 3 years ago. Find the right products that will work for you and you will embrace and love your curls

    • @splitshorse
      @splitshorse 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      don't do it! i hated my curls too and i did the brazilian keratine one and it was aweful, it damaged my hair a lot!

    • @LDG2379
      @LDG2379 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree, don't do it! I relaxed my hair years ago and I will always regret it. I'm still trying to nurse my curls back to it's original health. I feel you can do so much more with your natural curls then with straight hair.
