To answer your question, Daley, Chaos is the Imperium's greatest enemy. The Chaos Space Marines used to be loyal, but betrayed the Emperor during the Horus Heresy. However, that's not to say that they wouldn't team up if the odds were dire. Those Chaos Space Marines are World Eaters, AKA, Khorne worshipers. So, those zombies could be the work of Nurgle.
They're space Marines that now serve Hell itself!
Also some of Them are Heretics Of Astarte something like that They are Now Empire of Mans Worst Enemy for Sure the Lore Of Warhammer is Very Diverse

And they are not to be confused with Traitor Space Marines, who could be everything from hardcore chaos marines to a chapter that just kinda messed up, and still wholeheartedly support the empire despited being declared traitors for combing their hair the wrong way or some stupid crap like that.

The year is 999.M42. The Planetary Defense Force of a world so primitive it uses spears and crossbows is under siege by the World Eaters. Neither they, nor the Astra Militarum was able to halt the siege. They were pushed back to one single island with heavy casualties. As a final resort before Exterminatus, the Ultramarines, and Black Templars were sent to finish the fight. When victory seemed near, the latest move in the Great Game was played, with the Plague Lord himself unleashing a horde of reanimated corpses, and abominable biological experiments. The previous enemies were forced to team up against undefeatable odds. When it seemed all hope was lost, the ascended soul of the Emperor himself slipped through the tear in reality summoned by Nurgle to fight the Forces of Chaos once more. However, as this was unknown to the Inquisition, they elected to order Exterminatus to prevent the planet's conversion into a Daemon World.

Choas space marines are space marines who have fallen to the worship of the choas gods so no they are not with the imperium. If you want me to go into detail I would be glad to explain it as best I can.

Khorn: blood and war, nurgle: disease and rot, tzeetch: change and schemes and slaneash: excess and things I won’t say here. Now imagine a super solider that worships one or more of these gods that’s a chaos space marine.
I feel like Chain Swords should sort of get an area of effect against the zombies. Not as big as whatever the military zombies were doing but they should definitely get some sort of area damage in a small radius.

It's a good thing you "don't" know WH40K lore... Because Black Templars would never ally themselves with Chaos Sorcerer, because black Templars Oath is "Suffer not the Unclean to Live. Uphold the Honour of the Emperor. Abhor the Witch, Destroy the Witch. Accept Any Challenge, No Matter The Odds."
And not only are chaos Marines some of the biggest Heretics, the only thing a Black Templars hate more is a Chaos Sorcerer.
I would like to see Vraks made in UEBS - Krieg with artillery, tanks, and marines, attacking chaos and insurgents' positions - especially on the trenches map.
Well as for the relationship between the Imperium and Chaos marines, let me put it this way... the Imperium would sooner join forces with the zombies.

For Chaos Marines, they used to be with the imperium. Then there was a massive civil war when the Emperor's favorite "son" the primarch Horas betrayed him along with half of the space marines.
The Ultra Marines are a loyalist faction. The Chaos Marines followed Horas and now devote themselves to one of the 4 chaos gods Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh or Nurgle. The chaos guys you have there look like they are world eaters. They are devoted to Khorne the blood god. Blood for the blood god skulls for the skull throne.

40k lore breakdown.
There are no good guys. Everybody is messed up. Humans are divided between the Empire and Chaos. Chaos is 4 factions that fight everyone, including Chaos, as they fight for 4 separate gods. Chaos is demons and traitor space marines. The Empire is humans and loyal space marines and the tech priests of Mars. Then there are space elves in a few flavors, space dwarves in one short, some would say squat, flavor, space terminators, and space hippie fish gundams with rail guns. And then there are orcs... I can not implore you enough to do your own research on 40k orcs. They are.... You'll see.
Would love to see just the Custodes and the Primarchs take on the entire fleet in this video. They are both much stronger than the standard space marine.
The Ultramarines? Not the Custodes? I can buy the mid evil troop types as natives but come on, man. The Emperor rolls with the gold. Would make more sense if the boss here was Roboute Guilliman.
Another video idea:
Boys vs Girls. Could make for an epic battle.
Spartans vs Amazons, Smaug vs. Onyxia, Geralt vs. Ciri, Homelander vs. Stormfront, Obi Wan vs. Kerrigan, Iron Man vs. Wonder woman, the list goes on and on. Possibly as a tournament, somehow?
Basically for Chaos Marines is was back in Warhammer 30k there one the half the space marines betrayed the imperium of man in the event called "Horus Heresy" (Horus is the 'leader' of the heretical forces), half of all the space marines turned traitors under Horus and are still around in literal hell, and at random point they come back thinking only ten or twenty years passed since the heresy meanwhile it's 41k+. Basically Chaos marines have a whole bunch of factions or warbands and are generally evil, chaotic and f....ed up in the head.
Okay daily let’s break it down for you, chaos marines are previous space marine chapters that were tempted to the side of chaos with power or other desires they may have had also I know your trying your best but every time I hear “kriegs marines” it bothers me, their death korp of krieg soldiers. Space marines are genetically modified while standard imperium guardsmen aren’t.

just for the record, the chaos space marines are yeah, corrupted space marines in a way but they choose to do it.
They are the Death Corps of Kreig. The Kreigsmarine is the German Navy.

Very long story short, Chaos Marines are traitors to the Emperor that follow one of the four Chaos Gods: Khorne (Violence), Slaanesh (Sensation or Excess), Nurgle (Despair or Decay), and Tzeench (Change or Energy). There was a civil war where half the Space Marines turned traitor and half stayed loyal.
Chaos undivided also exists
Just to let you know the death Korps of kreig are a special unit of guardsmen that specialize in trench warfare bayonet charging and artillery and retreating is a foreign term to them also I noticed you were calling them Kreigs Marines just call them Kreigsmen
