Hey man! Welcome any time. And how is it to live in the northern side of the UK? I remember when i used to live in Bristol i was surprised how mild winter is: about +6 and often sunny (windy enough but still fine). This is probably not the case in the Newcastle area?

I’ve been mixing vinyl since I was a child and I can never get my mixes this flawless, especially not with the hands on style, it’s so audible on certain records when I uses my hands on the record, some aren’t noticeable, but yeah saying that I always touch the record not the platter that might be where I’m going wrong, I like riding the pitch too but I haven’t got my technique down as good compared with the hands on approach to vinyl mixing. Great mixing bro!

1000eur was not a reasonable price for mk7. You know what is unbelievable? I recently bought 2x atlp140xp for less than 1x mk7 costs and I don't feel much difference in terms of quality.
@@champain7357 I just feel betrayed man. As a token of appreciation to Technics I feel like you should have kept the mk7. Now you're giving me second thoughts about cancelling my order. I know you can almost buy 2 reloop 7000 for the price of 1 mk7 but its technics and like many things your paying for the brand and the name.I feel like you were too hard on mk7. For your use it would have been great. You play at home mostly so it would have suited you well. And the blue LEDs are clean. You moved the top of the power button saying "look it moves" well I just did that on my mk5 and it does the exact same thing .. lol. It's the design of the button. Mk2s power button is completely different so doesent shift like that. I dont think the platter dots should be warped but sadly that issue happens to many models today. If I do end up receiving my mk7 I'll check and see if they resolved that problem.

They would be perfect for me of course, but i have 2x mk2 which i bought for 1300eur (2x 650). I wanted a second pair, but spending 2000eur on 2x mk7 after what i saw was not a practical solution.

Hmm interesting! I find pitch riding too complicated. But i pitch bend using record edge as well as platter itself, no difference actually.
